It's very faithful to the original version, above all for the Jan Hammer's synt parts. "Spectrum" has been a fusion masterpiece, (how to forget Tommy Bolin on guitars and even Ron Carter playing  bass in a couple of tracks). I had the fortune to hear and watch Billy Cobham live concert in Rome, what an incredible drummer! Nice tribute.

It started with a groove from Paul Claxton, then Roger Cloutier gave him a concept.
Lisa Saunders had the idea for the first verse from her real life touring experience; "the man in blue says I think you better move along"..
It's a harsh world out there but the Trisektorians believe you have to reach out and choose not to be lonely.

Vlad sent me a bed track of this tune originally penned by Billy Cobham in the 70s and it was awesome because I hadn't heard the song in many years. It was certainly a load of fun helping Vlad recreate this one!

Every time I would bring up doing a cover song, Hedd would bring up I Am The Walrus. After a year or so I gave in. We love The Beatles and it's a privilege to honor their timeless brilliance.
