Paris-based Madben makes his debut on OFF Recordings with three tracks ranging from functional to rave-techno, based on the masterful use of distorted drums and synths.

"Inner Circle" keeps things deep, building towards an infectious synth sequence.

"In Depth" is an even more stripped tool, perfect for lovery of functional techno.

"Momentum" shows the more maximal side of Madben, saturated raw drums and an arpeggiated hook make for a massive dancefloor bomb.

Toronto's Basic Soul Unit presents a raw remix in his trademark style for "In Depth".

Berlin's CYRK, the joint project of Sierra Sam and Pascal Hetzel deliver the second remix, interpreting the original's elements in a hypnotic deep techno style.

In this talk, Boiler Room's Gabriel @szatan sat down with @wolfgang_voigt to discuss his landmark GAS project – some of the greatest ambient / dub techno / experimental electronic music of all time.

It was recorded live in front of an audience during a Classic Album Sundays session at London's Brilliant Corners, November 2016.

From the dark tones of 1997's "Zauberberg", through to 2000's glistening "Pop", the music Voigt recorded under his GAS moniker remains perhaps his most beloved and influential of a long career. Contemporary geniuses such as Tim Hecker, The Field, Burial, Donato Dozzy, William Basinski and more all carry the GAS hallmarks.

Here we find Carlos Souffront in his indigenous habitat - at No Way Back 2016 in the Ballroom of the Tangent Gallery, playing after Patrick Russell and before Derek Plaslaiko.
