PMS is a joint music project between Palmovka and Max Sinclair (aka Premenstrual Syndrome).

Palmovka is a Slovakian-born, but nowadays Budapest-based producer, DJ and music project of Lucia Udvardyova. She also co-founded the BABA VANGA cassette label.

Max Sinclair is a Budapest-based DJ, promoter and co-founder of Dalmata Daniel and BRVTAL labels.

Ton Lebbink was a true Dutch cult figure. He has been mostly known for his work in the eighties, where he paired absurdist and witty Dutch wordplay with stripped down wave-instrumentals. This mixtape introduces you to his far lesser known nineties era, where he went from being a bouncer to becoming a fitness instructor, and replaced his voice with a Roland W-30 sampler.

Specifically recorded for his aerobic classes, we take off with a production of Lebbink himself that then blends into club-cuts he bootlegged from the radio. This adventurous mixtape seems the right prelude to the upcoming release ‘Wat Doe je Met Me?' on Dutch music label RUBBER – a 12’’ EP containing three Ton Lebbink dance productions that never saw daylight.

His skill as a producer has been established with releases on labels such as Dark Entries, Fit Sound, and Obsolete Futures, and his prowess as a DJ has been witnessed on floors the world over. 
On Take Parts, Converse peels away the layers of acidic gauze that have characterized much of his work, revealing his sharp grasp of dancefloor dynamics and DJ functionality. While the 808’s, 909’s, and 303’s are on full display, Converse does not indulge in retro-fetishism; he channels the future forward impulse of the originary rave ethos. Tracks like “Stroke” and “What You Have” pit seasick chords and analog squelch atop funky but unsettling loops. The flurry of 808 snares on “Measurement (Of What?)” nods towards both footwork and jungle, but feels ultimately planted in a world of Converse’s own.
