This thumbnail is the reason this got uploaded a bit later than usual (even with the new upload time shift). Tile-sets are absolutely not my strong suit and it also took a bit of extra sprite-work and figuring out in general how I wanted to put this together.

This functions, as expected, as the post-Undyne-fight menu theme.

You may have questions about a certain someone's non-appearance so far in these last thumbnails. I have my answers, but I'm not ready to reveal anything yet. It may be quite a while before this gets revealed. But rest assured that I will reveal this in due time.

Kris eventually makes their way to Asgore's house.

The gap in time between fighting Mettaton BX and reaching Asgore's house is pretty large and a few things happen along the way. There's one thing in particular worth noting for the roleswap it would reveal! Since there's no better time to bring it up (as there's no song associated with it), and there's not much notable to mention about Asgore's house that I can't also bring up in the next description, I'll instead use this to talk about the context behind our fun new roleswap.

As Kris traverses the rest of New Home, they end up in a room with a lone rock. Against all odds, interacting with the rock, Kris learns that it is in fact sentient! The rock laments the fact that it can't really move around and go places with ease, and asks Kris if they would be willing to carry it around so it can see more of the vast world it lives in.

While Kris has the option to leave the rock behind, they're not THAT cruel and heartless.

The Talking Rock (who swaps with the snowman in Snowdin) appears in Kris' items menu and can be checked periodically, occasionally prompting new and unique dialogue depending on the circumstances in which Kris currently finds or previously found themself.

Pretty early on in Kris' trek through Leafpile, they encounter someone who's mastered the art of not giving a... y'know. Suzy -- who will make sure you know how to spell her name right -- usually skips class in favor of messing with both teams in the ongoing paintball war.

Even though she's learned both teams' strategies, she doesn't really do much with that information. Instead, her way of messing with them just revolves around name-calling and setting up little traps for both teams to fall for just to make them extra paranoid about how the other team pulled that off.

Suzy's a party member that accompanies Kris throughout the entirety of Leafpile.

The Ruined Dummy strikes back against the paintball menaces. Unfortunately for Kris and Suzy, this includes them, too. Despite their efforts to clear their name, the Ruined Dummy simply isn't having it.

The Ruined Dummy has been a victim of the paintball war, and, despite being an innocent bystander unrelated to the game, has been covered with paint from head to base. 
It's no wonder they seem so intensely apprehensive when face to face with a monster and her human companion dressed in the same kind of gear that their assailants wore.

The Chicken or The Egg

Here it is, a cover of my favourite song from the Undertale Soundtrack.
I always wanted to make it for a special occassion and, even though I am a bit late, I'm happy that it gets to release today.
I don't think I've ever put so much love in a song before, but I think that's fitting because of how much I love this game.
Sufficed to say, if not for Undertale, I wouldn't be here.
I wouldn't be passionate about music, I wouldn't realise that I can be a writer, I wouldn't have a community to appreciate what I do.
Undertale has brought so much joy to my life that it's hard thinking where I would be without it.
But as much as I love it, I must admit it's hard to branch off from it.
More and more I've been trying to create something on my own, my own songs, my own characters etc.
The first attempts were horrid, and well... they still kinda are...
Maybe sometime in the future I'll grow a pair and show you lmao
I want to treat this anniversary as a turning point for me.
Yeah I'll still make tons of fancontent for this game, but it will drift from being my main focus as time goes on.
As much as I love Undertale, I don't want this game to define me as a person.
I want to finish COTW in the next few years and after that, I'm going to create my own games.
They're not gonna be nearly as good, but I hope you'll eventually enjoy them.

ASGORE [Late 10th Anniversary Special]

Frozen Cathedrals (Pt. 3)

Det tredje och sista kapitlet i trilogin tar musiken till en plats bortom hetta, bortom industriellt dån – rakt in i en isande tystnad där varje ton ekar som i en glaciärkatedral.

Här smälter black metal-riffens skoningslösa energi samman med jazzens fria improvisation, men tempot saktar in. Istället för bastuns febriga kaos och fabrikernas rytmiska hammarslag hör vi nu kalla borduner, sakrala klanger och disharmoniska kluster som spricker som is under foten.

Rhodes-pianot låter som frusna vattenfall, trummorna som avlägsna laviner, och gitarrerna skriker genom stormen som kyrkklockor i snödimma. Musiken rör sig mellan kontrollerad stillhet och plötsliga utbrott – som om katedralerna själva andas.

Det är en avslutande mässa, en musikalisk gravkammare som både hedrar kaoset från de tidigare albumen och sluter cirkeln med en ton av ödesmättad frid.

Pt. 1 – Aurora Nocturne
Det första kapitlet. Här föds kaoset i bastuns hetta – mötet mellan jazzens improvisation, black metal-riffens kyla och den rituella transens rytmer. En nattlig svit där mörker och norrsken delar scen.

Pt. 2 – Monoliths of Dissonance
En resa in i industrilandskapets hjärta. Kalla fabriker, uranblänkande torn och maskinrytmer bygger monument av oljud. Strukturerna är hårdare, rytmerna mer brutala – som att spela jazz på kollapsande fabriksväggar.

Pt. 3 – Frozen Cathedrals
Slutkapitlet. Allt fryser till is. Katakomber av klang, sakrala dissonanser och polyrytmisk kyla bildar en sista mässa för en värld på väg att stelna i frost och skugga.
