Bio:
Born in São Paulo, Victoria Hasan is the name behind the Vic Emotion project. Since childhood, she has nurtured a deep passion for music that mixes melodies, sensitive elements and ascending energy. Since starting to perform in several cities in her state, she has been associated with one of the fastest growing styles in the Brazilian electronic scene today: progressive house.
However, Vic seeks to adopt a harmonious sound range ranging from Organic House to Melodic Techno at specific moments in his sound construction. By floating within this three-pronged spectrum, or styles that speak to each other, she manages to achieve performances of a unique dimension, combining melodies, groove and captivating elements, thus gaining recognition from her peers and the demanding public of these styles. In 2023, she stood out on the stage of the renowned Universo Paralello festival and more recently, she received an invitation to perform at the iconic Ame Laroc festival, alongside several influential artists from the national and international electronic scene.

For this guest mix on The Crate DGGRS, presented by Saturo Sounds, I imagined myself playing at the stroke of midnight in a dimly lit club in London, where the energy is palpable and every track is felt deep in the soul. I poured everything I had into this mix, blending progressive house and melodic techno with hypnotic vocals to keep the crowd moving all night. My favourite genres are Melodic House, Organic House, Progressive House but I do like to experiment with other genres such as Trance, Techno, Bass House, Funky House, Nu-Disco, Dance etc.

Started out in 2008 with nothing more than a couple of belt driven turntables and a mixer with an old laptop, Over the years I gained a little more experience listening to advice from local DJs and doing gigs for birthdays and engagement parties as a mobile DJ. 

Fast forward to lockdown I met some very talented DJs through live streams on Facebook, the late playdj.tv and twitch.
New friendships were born. I joined my first Internet radio station (KL Radio In The Mix) in 2022 where I met some more talented DJs and producers and in March 2024 had a guest set played on Organic Deep House Radio which got me my residency with them.

My journey continues and my next step in the not so distant future is to start producing music myself.
