I don’t think Ive heard this song in years. This cover is decent, though. It sorta reminds me of the original Halloween Hack Megalovania (which is a good thing, if that’s what you were going for). You‘re definitely improving.

So, remember that one WIP that I never finished? Well, I decided to work on it again and now, it's finished! Isn't that just precious? Anyways, I feel this is probably my best work so far as I've always said but I'll probably be expecting to do much better in the future.

WORLDWIDE ELEMONATION

Splittings, for just intonation vibraphone and electronics, was written for percussionist Daniel Lewis and premiered at Constellation on the 2023 Frequency Series. Juxtaposing equal tempered sine tones and just intonation vibes, this piece plays with the uncanny, fusing the two tunings and transporting the listener to a saturated harmonic universe. 

This piece was recorded and mixed by David Bird at the 2024 CHIMEfest at UChicago.
