(you are mine) in German, looping, pitched low like a drunk memory. [Verse 1 - 0:18 to 1:10] Bus ride. Two thousand miles. I sat there, gut empty, head full of her voice. Three days in Oregon-she poured vodka, smiled like a gift. Then the hand. The first slap. Sound like wet meat on tile. I didn't move. Couldn't. Not yet. Sold me that night. Room smelled like bleach and sweat. Inside her? Dead. Numb. High. Heroin in my vein, her nails in my neck-same burn, same blank. Wanted to die but body said no. Someone else kept breathing for me.
