An emotional rap-metalcore fusion reflecting on grief and lost love. 🖤 I wrote this 9 years after losing the love of my life to cancer at 21. This is a reflection of that grief and the path I'm on, a reflection of how I feel now at 30. I'm trying to remind myself of that unconditional love.

One More

Born behind a paywall life
(before I could choose)
Raised to smile, trained to lie
(they call it polite)
Freedom’s just a brand they sell
And I was choking by design
(no accident)

Met my people through a screen
Felt more real than kings and queens
We’re all ghosts in rented space
Told to love this rusted cage
(not today)

They say “money can’t buy peace”
(tell that to the rich)
But I’ve sold my time for nothing
And bled just to exist
Try dreaming big in a quiet cell
(echoes don’t build)
Try being human in this hell

(watch me burn)
Wanna burn their choir

Build a fire where the liars freeze
With the freaks and friends who still believe

That dares to scream and dares to bleed
