Based in Greece, Dizharmonia is a duo that has been gaining a great deal of recognition as of late. With a main influence deriving from old school progressive sounds and an approach towards more modernistic techno, Dizaharmonia is a project that is certainly not afraid to push “musical” boundaries.

Making their debut on French based Deep House and Techno record label Nagual Research, ‘Thonis’ is one of three original productions from the Vivlos EP, alongside remixes from BAAL and Nick Varon.

German duo Piemont has proven itself to be an absolute production power-house over the last decade. Made up of long-time friends Frederic and Chris, the pair first decided to hook up and make music together back in 2007 and, since then, have gone on to establish themselves as one of the foremost partnerships in techno and have been releasing Music on acclaimed labels like Monaberry, Lapsus Music, Glasgow Underground, Exploited, Definition Music and Toolroom.

The pair actually grew up in ‘90s Hamburg listening to singer songwriters and various rock bands. Always soaking up the use of real instruments and proper arrangements throughout their youths, that genuine musicianship is something that now shines through in Piemont’s own contemporary electronic productions. In terms of dance music it was French filter house acts and stadium sized ravers like Daft Punk and Chemical Brothers respectively than first turned them on to the possibilities of house and techno, whilst the more subtle intricacies of top labels like Playhouse and Kompakt also continue to inspire and influence this pair.

In 2013, then, Piemont’s sound is best describe as organic techno. Their music always comes stuffed with a sly robo-funk and is built in many rich layers. Their preference for ambient sounds, melodic lushness and abstract electronica makes every track different from the next - for evidence just listen to their recent ‚Starchild‘ song for Monaberry, or earlier classics like Carbonat and Black Smoker. Each release tells its own story and often Piemont music is as suited to home listening as it is club dancing. The best proof of this has come in the form of their two excellent and fully formed long players Strange World Beyond and Sand Hills.

In 2017 they started their own label 'Moonless Air' which is not only a platform for Piemont's own releases but also a home for innovative music from upcoming artists and friends. The first release, entitled 'Swung Blind' comes from the label owners themselves and is due for release in November.

As DJs, too, they have travelled far and wide. On top of playing regularly across Europe at places like Berlin‘s Watergate, Hive Club in Zurich and Studio 80 in Amsterdam, this pair has headlined many festivals and has also played across Russia and Japan, always joining the dots between house and techno styles, going deep or raising their heads into more peak- time territory. As such, they are a very real voice in the global techno conversation; have plenty more to say and keep many people listening intently.

In the new edition of Uxoa Dutxa Elite the boss Di Rugerio is back presenting his new sonorous material called Aeternis in conjunction with his new musical project Realm Of Chaos, likewise including two excellent remixes by the german Rauschhaus and the spanish Th Moy.

Aeternis is a deeply melodic theme, an arpeggio arises in sequence from the beginning adding new percussive elements and synthesizers that give support to the main melody that reaches the climax in the break with great emotion and that takes us to an abstract journey of thoughts about our ephemeral existence. 

Followed by the remix of Rauschhaus, leading off with an energetic and cheerful battery where synths are quickly merged in the background and with the original melody being reinterpreted more hypnotic and spatial maintaining the feeling and emotion in the break, a great track for the dance floor. 

And finally, Th Moy give us a real musical jewel starting up in a clean way with percussions, synthesizers and with a new and powerful melody in the bass with sounds taken from the Moog then the magic arises with the main melody but with ethereal sounds, in the first break a hypnotic arpeggio emerges and together with the battery and previous melodies the spanish musician raises us to a state of ecstasy until the second break resulting a sublime reinterpretation masterpiece.

Christian Nielsen is back on Sincopat this time for his first solo EP on the label. The Danish artist is a relentless person: office worker by day and music hero by night, he has definitely found his path in electronic music.
Talking about music, 'Access' opens the EP with one clear aim: make you dance. It counts with an amazing and epic breakdown to be enjoyed entirely. On remix duties, AFFKT takes the track to his painting easel adding more melodic notes to the landscape with his unique and personal style, Sincopat's big kahuna proves once again his talent with this powerful and organic remix. On 'Stroke it', Christian uses the minimum items to get the best result, you won't need anything else to find this track awesome: it is sinister, hypnotic and really effective. Last but not least 'Back Seat' is the perfect closure for the release, adding an even more timeless flavor to the whole pack. Enjoy!
