Ahead of his highly anticipated self-titled debut album, Noir drops three new interpretations of album cut ‘Glass’, alongside Symbol, a singer songwriter producer from the Maryland/DC indie scene and one half of the Baltimore underground pop group Claire Hux. The package includes a remix from Reset Robot as well as new interpretations from Noir himself, all of which are distinct from the original album.
  
The Raw Club Cut offsets Symbol’s delicate vocal against a powerful, acid-flecked bassline that simmers patiently for the track’s duration, creating a tense tech-house thumper that crescendos beautifully with the addition of haunting strings and clattering snares. Reset Robot heads to darker territory, with a rolling bassline and moody stabs leading the way, while looped refrains of the vocal shimmer in the impending gloom. Tougher still is the Broken Glass Techno Dub. As the name suggests, this is pounding techno of the very highest order, with the distinct melody of the original all but replaced with rubbery, thunderous drums and scything synthetic stabs.

Just as the temperature starts to rise for summer, !Organism keeps on serving up some of Europe’s hottest techno. Behind their next one is Portugal’s Steve Menta, who offers up three tracks of searing club beats with a fine remix from Xpansul. 

Menta has been part of the LX Music crew since 2008. He veers from melodic house to darker techno and does so on labels like Troia and Superbia. With fans like Paco Osuna and Nick Warren playing his beats, and his DJ diary taking him all over the world, Menta is a real techno player. 

Up first is the fulsome ‘Symptomatic,’ a paranoid and large scale groove with big drums, turbulent synths and a dark sense of energy that powers the whole thing along with real force. Remixing this one is the hugely prolific Xpansul, a Spanish artist with many aliases and more than 50 EPs to his name on the likes of Ovum, Perc and Analytic Trail. His version is industrial and menacing, boisterous and hugely textured, with flaming drums and massive hi-hats demanding you stomp along to the groove. 

Elsewhere, the hugely atmospheric ‘Alchemist’ is a dubbed out roller with spine-tingling and chilly hi-hats ticking along above deep drums as warm pads smear out in all directions. It is one for the heads and the back rooms, whilst ‘Unveiled’ is a much more banging and peak time track with incendiary hi-hat ringlets, slamming drums and intense synths that fire every synapse. 

This is another on point EP jam packed with dance floor dynamite.

Matt is becoming one of the familiar faces on Aftertech Records. With his track 'Bounce' he shows you once again why. His impressive use of percussions and his gentle use of melodies set the tone. When a soft yet mesmerizing bassline is introduced the dream is complete. He lets his melodies bounce softly on top of his bassline accompanied by beautiful dreamy pads. After the break a new surprising yet fitting melody comes in, giving this track the proper finishing touch it deserves.


Jérémie Naulet - Game Over
Jérémie delivered the darker track of this compilation. A heavy kick and an effective use of percussion lead the way. Together with a light arpeggio and an airy pad he slowly builds towards the sound where this track is all about. A saxy sound appears and takes you away on his strong beats until the break comes in. Drums and melodies create tension until it all explodes, Game Over

Yeröm - Other Dimensions
Yeröm will bring you into another dimension. This young artist manages to surprise us with this amazing track in which he doesn’t mess around. A strong hihat and echoing percs are the backbone of the groove. Quickly a strong bassline together with the melody are introduced, which never seem to stop growing in power. Then halfway a dirty yet beautiful synth builds massive tension in the break only to go out with even more power than there was before. An amazing track all together, Yeröm is definitely someone to keep your eye on.

Moode - Arp
Another new name on our imprint here. This track is as sweet as candy and a pure pleasure for the ears. Soft heavenly bells ring while a deep bass glues the percussion together with the melody. A warm blanket of pure relaxation falls over you, yet the bassline still manages to get your feet from the ground.

For our brandnew release, we welcome Valerio Vaudano, whose name you might know from releas-es on Say What? Recordings or Lapsus Music. We are happy to have him on The Plot Music now with his brilliant EP “The nature of music.”
Right at the beginning of ‘Flying On A Pink Flamingo’ a minor arpeggio with emotional strings leads you into the musical world of this release. Later hi-hats are coming in which add more veloci-ty. During the break a synth melody is joined by a second arpeggio, giving it even more depth.
‘Hornet’ starts with dreamy pads and hypnotic arp sounds. As the track continues harmonic chords, rides and a spacy percussion are pushing the track ahead.
