The Boiling Mind

Barry G. Wick has been writing poetry and prose since the late 1960s and doesn't care much for the publishing industry.  So he uses a blog and other websites for presenting his work to the public.  He recently moved to Coralville, Iowa, next to the great poetry center of The University of Iowa, The Writer's Workshop and Iowa City.  He goes to some readings, had recorded some readings of other poets, and has read a few times at readings in bars and book stores.  He mostly stays at home all day.  He has relatively high quality audio recording equipment and programs.  Most of his recordings now use TC Helicon microphones, a Mackie ProFX16 mixer, Audacity recording program, Sony headphones and a Dell core i7 computer.  He owns about a dozen other microphones including an Audio Technica shotgun and CAD studio.
