The Post Riot Era = Aggressive Ambient Music

Slow rolling, sublimely rhythmic compositions swelling with effected guitars, electronics, and field recordings. Drum-less. Vocal-less. But aggressive. And musical. An idea best served to fans of neoclassical, minimal, 70's experimental, and 'Kranky' style atmospherics. Ambient.

The Post Riot Era is the work of Los Angeles based musician and composer Dean Hinds. Since 2009, the Post Riot platform has functioned as an outlet for Hinds' more subliminal, sarcastic, and anti-social inspirations. The resulting music is an exploration of what it means to "be" when you can't entirely choose who you are. And to say anymore is to totally defeat the purpose.

All Post Riot Era works are public domain, provided by this website free from copyright (CC0). Please collect, reject, explode, and implode these creations in whatever manner you please. If our ideas cannot be free, there is nothing human left to fight for. All hail the dawn of the inanimate, the animal, the machine.
