Substance is what gives our identity weight. The more substance we get, the more weight we carry.
Substance is gotten as we continue to behold the face of Jesus through the word of God.

1. Study the whole bible
		- Its important to study the word of God
2. Use different translations
3. Search for the original root meaning in Greek and Hebrew ( So you can understand the mindset of the original author)
4. Search for every other place where the word of event happened so you can do cross-referencing
5. Look for its first appearance
6. Stay on it - Ruminate on the word of God
7. Read the whole text for context 
8. Check the Dictionary for specific meanings
9. Imagine illustrations 
10. Memorize the verse and enjoy it
11. Listen to teachings again and again
12. Journal 
13. Share with a friend
14. Pray in the spirit
15. Be sensitive to opportunities to act on the word

In this message, Pastor Dami taught us the amazing work the Father wrought in us by quickening and lighting us up in our Spirit man, we also saw how as He is, so are we in this world, Spirits! - and having lit us up we cannot be hidden under a bushel rather we are called to a life of dominance and glory on the Earth. Ultimately, we saw how the translation from a hidden lit candle to a glorious and glowing phenomenon set on a candlestick and bringing glory to the Father is by meditation and staying on every word that proceeds from His mouth.

Shaping Your Identity in the Face of Jesus 7.0 - Pastor Dami Oguntunde

Oh what a joyful time in service today. 

We learnt from Isaiah 12:3 that the moment we came in to the light of salvation, wells of endless possibilities in God's life were deposited in us and it is by joy in the Holy Spirit that these wells spring up. In other words, it is with joy in the Holy Spirit that we draw from the wells deposited in us at salvation.

We saw seven interwoven definitions and three dimensions  of joy to the believer but ultimately we understood that for us believers our being joyous is not to be determined by harvest or scarcity or by our emotions rather it responds to the light of God's countenance; and when we encounter life's quizzes, our response is to get into the executive mode of the Almighty in joyful laughter in the Holy Ghost as in Psalms 2:4. This is a sure path to the consolidation of our victory over the enemy.
