PRZ comes to Sync 24's Cultivated Electronics with his first double album "Lost Art".

In the ever-evolving realm of electronic music, where sonic innovation is the currency, PRZ (Gal Perez) emerges as a luminary, crafting sonic landscapes with a distinct style that blends intricate rhythms, ethereal melodies and pulsating beats. As a producer, DJ, co-founder of the Chateau Royal label and Pluto Junkies member, PRZ has spent the last decade shaping his sound and releasing tracks on some of dance music's most respected labels including Clone West Coast Series and Hilltown Disco.

With a boundless imagination and unwavering commitment to sonic exploration, his "Lost Art" release is a fully-formed album rather than just a collection of tracks, opening with the atmospheric intro of "Introvert", before the playful sonic antics of tracks like "Lazerton", "Lost Art" and "Voice Over". Other tracks bring pure Electro darkness like "Velocity Shift" alongside the ElectroTechno of "Time To Decide", the EBM-esque "Azaya" or the retro funk of "Back From 89" - all primed for dance floors, before closing on the melancholy "Miss You".

With Multiply Your Absurdities, Helena Hauff delivers her long-awaited 12-inch debut on Tresor: a multi-colored inauguration, masterfully crafted by the inimitable Hamburg producer and DJ.

The title track Multiplying My Absurdities opens the record, with a slow burn of magnetic synths and numbing acid drops.
Through its simple yet thrilling dynamics, it occasionally falls into playful skepticism, creating something truly unique, uncompromised, and beautiful.

Punks in the Gym is named after an infamous climbing route in Australia. As its namesake, the track mercilessly rises to a techno summit.
It gets steeper and steeper with every bar, resembling a volcanic dance where 303 earthquakes shake the ground before eruptions. 
Once you're halfway in, there's no turning back; all you can do is keep moving forward. 

The closing track, Humanoid Fruit, transports to an even darker prehistoric landscape.
Synths bursts remind of fossilized Pterodactyls revived—a challenging but rewarding trip through acidic rain and the alleys of your mind. 

Originally released as the soundtrack for Teslaism by artist and filmmaker Bahar Noorizadeh, a 3rd person musical racing game featuring Elon Musk and his self-driving car/lover and life coach, as they drive towards a shareholder meeting in a post-gamified Berlin landscape. It premiered at the "Tresor 31: Techno, Berlin und die große Freiheit" exhibition in 2022 and deals with stimulating skepticism about the emergence of a new era after Post-fordism that she calls Teslaism: "an upgrade to the system of production and consumption predicated on advanced storytelling, financial worldbuilding, and imagineering 'the look of the future.'" What has been once inspired by Helena Hauff's dystopian sound has now been made into an official music video for the track.

Much like the video, Multiply Your Absurdities represents a journey into futuristic uncertainty.

“Bassplayer” is Silent Cure´s latest production, coming out off the back of “Natural Punk”, a 3-originals EP released via NEIN Records earlier this year. 

Silent Cure´s track is faithful to the unconventional path followed by the Danish producer when it comes to blending IDM, EBM and ambient : “Bassplayer” is an hypnotic voyage into the underground world, where despair flirts with hope, where light flashes throughout darkness. The dream feels real as it would just before dawn.  

The vintaged DJ & producer who -  since his early days as a DJ in 1995 – has followed closely the evolution of electronic music, delivers yet another idiosyncratic tune for the aficionados of indie electro and wave music.     
 
The single EP “Bassplayer” is completed by a dystopian mix by Berlin-based Thisbe´s label owner Pyrame. 
  
“Bassplayer“ is due to drop on Friday the 10th of October 2024 on all streaming platforms via Thisbe Recordings.

Retired rapper, outdoor garms connoisseur, king of the blend, genre bender extraordinaire... there is no one quite like @teki-latex. The Frenchman has a rare but healthy insouciance when it comes to rules and conventions of the dance floor, so isn't afraid to drop hip hop in a techno club, or weave a forgotten pop vocal into a contemporary club banger. He gets away with it because his hyperactive mind is matched by his hyperactive skills and the results are never less than brilliantly WTF?!

Because a Teki Latex DJ sets has you riding by the seat of your pants, they can feel improvised and off the cuff, but in fact they are often meticulously planned. That is surely the case with this week's podcast, which is 75 spell binding minutes of musical ping-pong. It jumps around with the energy of a thousand frogs from UK funky to blistering techno, old school jungle to original 2-step via divisive summer smash 'WAP' and plenty of who knows what else. One thing's for sure, it will make you smile as much as it makes you dance.
