These are closely followed by two standout remixes: label boss Just Her delivers a deep and driving rework, while Jozef K, known for his immersive sonic textures, delivers a haunting atmospheric twist, each bringing a new flavour to appease any dance floor.

Completing the package is original street art from Brighton’s legendary graffiti artist Unknown, raw and unfiltered, drawing on the parallel between art and music. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.

Dutch underground acid-techno act Random XS strikes again with two rugged and authentic dance floor rockers. After a long awaited re-release of their Djax-Up-Beats classic 'Give Your Body' last year on Delsin, they return with a pair of fresh and unheard acid jams on the closely related MOS Recordings. Both tracks recorded in the early '90s, but only recently finalized and improved for heavy club impact. It's an EP full with gurgling 303 grooves and raw energy in the traditional and energetic Random XS way.

It seemed as if the whole world had gone mad - no law, no order and no humanity. A departure for peace had seen chaos descend in the aftermath, who would have ever thought that the absence of government and the judicial system would result in the peril which was faced now. On the streets there was violence, in the cities there was trouble and as the forests vanished one by one and the looting began to escalate it seemed as if there was to be little hope for the age of man. It was all about to blow up, just as they'd wanted. 

ADT is set to release a stunning electro inspired EP on R12 Records - fierce with a touch of melancholy and intricate precision. These are well built tracks with great attention to detail. Structured sound with playful energy.

Lost are the fall hues and swirling leaves, replaced by a grating wind and rain combination that seems to infiltrate the even the warmest jacket. Fear not! As you’ve found yourself an oasis in a sea of gray. Salvation comes tonight in the form of your car as the key turns, the heater kicks on full blast, welcoming you into the comforting mechanical embrace away from the elements. With the car warming, you slowly flip through the radio stations, one by one until you catch a song in particular…

Drinking Paint is off of Datassette’s Existenzmaximum EP forthcoming on Future Massive. The five track EP out on the 29th of November is chock full of bleepy bloopy goodness, trippy beats and auditory tricks. Ekiti Sound’s childhood between London and Lagos was invaluable: it was a lived experience of the recent musical dialogue between West Africa and the UK.

Spending his formative years in East London clubs, then working as a sound designer for Pinewood Studios and scoring movies within the booming Nollywood lm industry became the foundation of the album’s eclectic sound, which takes in references as varied as techno, trap and soul, while its narrative pays homage to Nigerian folklore: “I’m really focused on the preservation of our culture,” says Ekiti Sound, whose moniker was named after the region where his father was born.

The artist’s award-winning 2019 debut album ABEG NO VEX is a record whose production ingenuity nuanced a new chapter in the Afro-fusion sound, while asserting the vocalist and producer as a maverick who’s ready to keep pushing boundaries.
With ABEG NO VEX receiving support from Tom Ravencroft (BBC6 Music), Gilles Peterson (WWFM), Laurent Garnier, Afropunk and other global tastemakers, the album has built a cult fan base of DJs and diaspora ravers.

The worldwide appreciation of the album inspired Ekiti Sound to invite producers from across the globe to remix tracks. Resulting in the EP Abeg No Vex (The Remixes Vol 1), which will be released on March 6th on Crammed Discs.

The featured remixers are Canadian electronic music producer Hrdvsion (pronounced “hard vision”), London’s Stan-ley & BeatSoul and eclectic French producer & DJ Soul Edifice.
