Elias’ gorgeously profound vocal and intricately tender wordplay makes us incredibly excited to hear more. “Revolution is about the beauty of breaking up something you don’t believe in and instead doing something the way that you want to,” explains the Swedish 18 year-old. “It’s not an angry song, it’s more about the excitement of being able to make a brand new start. I wanna capture many things in Revolution, but also the beauty in breaking the norm, the beauty in breaking something old and something you don't agree with. I think every one should do that more. I was looking for a place to dance in the dark. A smoke filled room with a rumbling system and an ambience of excess. I asked them to bring me down to the spot, but it was not what I had expected at all. The red walls lined the room with a deathly glow, the black mist prevented my sight, I was disorientated and lost. This was not my idea of fun and I wished I had not asked them to bring me down. 

Tuff City Kids are on triumphant form as they remix M Wylde on Cultures Of Soul. When this one landed in our inbox we knew we were on a to a winner straight from the off: a winning combination. They edit the track into a high energy melodic dancefloor escapade.

The caves of Botuto loomed ominously above the sea, their black, murky depths swallowed up the water and sight was lost amidst the darkness. The waves roared coarsely in his ears as they clattered against the rugged cliff face, this was unchartered territory, no human had ever entered the Botuto. They would soon find out how deep the rabbit hole beneath the water would go. 

'Schaum' is the latest release to emerge from the Faitiche records camp. It sees masayoshi Fujita and Jan Jelinke get weird and wonderful across a sprawling assortment of music which comes in at just under an hour.

Ing - The first release for General Purpose (GP), a record label created by Len Leise and longtime DJ partner and collaborator Salvador. Leise and Salvador neither plan to release exclusively on GP, nor promise regular releases. It’s a label for when they can find the time, energy, money and, most important, the sound they believe in.
Ing is about embracing change, experimentation and progression. Terrified to follow a format, Leise looked to other genres for inspiration. Alma Negra are quickly becoming one of our favourite collaborative groups. They incorporate musical oddities, worldly sounds, percussion and blend it amongst nostalgic elements of folk and sounds from far away.
