We don't know much about Peeping Tom except the fact he had a track on the free download digital compilation "A Bitterness Of Soul" Pinkman released last december to thanx the people for the support over the first two years of label existence. Now it's his proper vinyl debut four tracker on Pinkman. Blistering techno and dramatic electro injected jams from this unknown Rotterdam based voyeur. Comes with an insert with pictures taken on the streets by the peeper himself. Out next week lads !

The classroom roared with laughter as the announcement was made. In the corner of the room the teacher watched on with a sense of thoughtful poignancy. Lou had finally beaten Sou and the schoolchildren were delighted by the result. It wasn't often that the class clown received their comeuppance. Often their dominance was what scared and inspired other children into laughter. Now, with a bashful look upon his face Lou walked slowly back to his chair to reflect on the loss. The teacher sighed. 

Leon Revol is set to release a new EP on Beats Of No Nation. It will be the fourth in their catalogue and comes from the24 year old Bordeaux based producer who has previously released music on the likes of Kolour, Secret Reels, Future Disco, and Monologues.

She watched him leave. His car drove slowly up the road and into the distance as the rain began to fall with a harmonic pitter patter. She was left alone once again, in the empty house surrounded by the walls that haunted and twisted between them. There was little left in her heart, she just wished that she could see him sometimes. Perhaps it was supposed to be this way, distant and sad. She sat at the table and watched the outside world float by through the glass. 

Tilman returns to release on Klamauk for the second time. He brings with him his golden take on deep house and orchestrates a careful assortment of charmed pads and samples.

He knew what she was thinking about as she paraded boldly across the room. Her provocative nature had always been one to entice suspicion and interest. It were as if a vast audience were observing her long legs march with power and eerie stealth. She knew, he knew and I know. The music began to play even louder in the basement as she began to dance. It was an elegant, slow moving feat which left little to the imagination. This was not what she had dreamt of but by heavens was she good. 

Hubie Davison appears on Needs, a new not for profits record label founded by Bobby Pleasure. The proceeds of the first release will go to mental health charity Mind.

The call of the night welcomed her home. She had ran for thousands of miles by day across the dandy dunes and the grassy plains but something always ensured she returned to her place of rest. "Ducue" echoed out across the night as the stars sparkled in a hazy glow up above. The sky was a pitch, deep black but it was not threatening like it once had been. Now it was still, peaceful and dreamy. Half the world was asleep whilst another roared and rioted. This was far away. 

Love Letters is an artist whom we have supported previously on Ransom Note, an interesting up and comer with a distinct sound reminiscent of the days when house was... better. Yeah, we said it. Anyway, here is a new track on Yield Records, listen to "Ducue".

@hokkaido-dance-club: A label not a disco on a north Japanese island, is helmed by Jordan Saxton (aka @Viers & @leekonitz) and Joe Sagar  - two pals from Leeds with a dirty habit of unearthing a gem. HDC have been somewhat quiet of late. Their most recent release being early 2017 from label honcho Viers; a sumptuous offering which left HDC fans all Oliver Twist - begging for more of that tasty metaphorical audio gruel. If you don't have a bowl yet - get one.

When we first heard this - it's safe to say we were a little surprised (pleasantly of course). Part of HDC's legacy has been their contributions towards the dance floor - four/four lead post 12am heaters. Medrea's (https://soundcloud.com/medreadj) 'Untitled' and this features Premiere kicks the record off as it means to go on - maintaining Hokkaido's gritty aesthetic with about as much saturation as the fat content in the porkiest of pies, yet veering (no pun intended) away from the hallmark stonk. Broken beats combining and interacting with etheral strokes and mechanistic hues throughout make for an immersive and entrancing listening experience. In more simple terms - imagine PS1's Duke Nukem gliding his pixely fingers across a Roland D-50 as part of a dystopian future-soul band. Still not with us? Just listen - s'good.

Hackney-based post-punk outfit @aathenss were formed in late 2015, their early rehearsals taking place in the basement of Kingsland Road's now-defunct DIY space Power Lunches which closed shortly afterwards. That dark, sweaty, hallucinatory basement was where I first witnessed the band's incendiary live show, which bristles with tightly-wound energy.

Now, Aathens are releasing their debut album 'Virtue Signal' on East London imprint @blank-editions, and we're premiering the record's first track, 'Idiot Thing'. The taut, spindly guitar lines and acrobatic rhythm section call to mind a cross between Television and the Minutemen - and it's just the tip of the iceberg on an album which announces Aathens as one of the most exciting and substantial guitar groups in the UK right now.

The empty boulevard was strangely enchanting under the glow of the dying sun. The radiant pink sky was lit up with a fluorescent haze as the cars travelled back and forth upon the tarmac. She walked along the sidewalk simply watching the world, she was blissfully ignorant of the smog and fumes being dispelled by the monstous exhausts. She cared little for the honk of horns and the angry words being exchanged between passengers. The whole world might as well disappear for she was in love. 

Ark is a somewhat underrated figure. The French producer has crafted a deeply singular sound across many years and yet is often forgotten or displaced amidst the dance and electronic music community. Maybe that's the way he likes it, on the fringes, dabbling in sound.
