There was a flickering flame which burnt by the river as he watched the stream roll downwards beyond his line of sight. It was symbolic in a way, that this one burning fire might represent his deepest desires and his greatest hope. He looked up at the night sky and listened to the silence which buried and engulfed the countryside all around him. There was nobody else around for he was in the midst of nowhere. This was the outback, the middle of the abyss, yet still his deepest ambitions burnt bright.

Dukwa is a producer of whom we are fond. Releases via Bosconi Records and Numbers cemented his position which was then followed by two self released EPs. Now he appears on a newly launched label, TDSR, in what might just be his best yet.

Tallinn based producer Olga debuts on LIITHELI with four elevating cuts on a release entitled ‘Krakow Horse Racing’.
Born and raised in Tallinn, Olga is the moniker of a local producer who is active in a variety of music genres. The Olga alter-ego was formed to be a 120-140 bpm project which fulfills “guilty pleasures” of the creator who continuously seeks to develop innovative sounds and ideas through expansive experimentalism and creativity. ‘Krakow Horse Racing’ sees him join the Estonian based label LIITHELI who continue to provide a platform for local producers following the likes of Rando Arand, Mava & Nebukat, N1MA and the label boss Ali Asker on releases that picked up support from artists such as Ben Sims, Axel Boman, Italo Johnson, Efdemin, Bruce Forest Drive West, Éclair Fifi and many more.
‘Wedjan31’ begins proceedings with fluttering pads sweeping underneath a breaks rhythm and oscillating melodic stabs before ‘Krakow Horse Racing’ offers up intense synth notes, blissful leads and revolving percussion in this bright, euphoric house cut.
On the flip, ‘‘Friday’ features sunshine filled strings and pulsating low-end balance harmoniously with revolving modulations that progress delightfully throughout until ‘Olga’s Dream’ rounds off the EP with an ambient cut featuring murky, half-time drums, cinematic atmospheres and dreamy soundscapes providing an introspective yet soothing experience to finish.

Dan Curtin has been an ever present figure in electronic music, a producer whose music has been adored and collected over decades. His label, Metamorphic, is now back. A much loved imprint has been given a new lease of life and a new EP from Nico Lahs helps to set the scene. This one comes with high recommendations.

The sheets were soft and luxurious to the touch as he climbed into the expansive bed and rolled around in the midst of the darkness. He'd never felt linen like it, so delicate and comforting in such a grand room which lay beneath the stars. He popped a pill to help him sleep and gazed upwards into the black sky up above as the stars danced majestically atop a canvas of darkness. Soon he would fall asleep, comforted by the soft, dense warmth of a dream far away. 

Aspetuck is a producer whom we have been keeping track of for a while now. Having released a number of EP's independently he now joins forces with Cairo Xpress for a new record which is both promising and prosperous for the upcoming producer.
