She'd been blind to it but now it was as though a veil had been lifted, her rose tinted glasses had been firmly removed and reality had set in. The revelation had to come.

In May Lithuanian music platform and label Whypeopledance celebrated eight years in the game. As a recognition of the milestone and the friends and family they've built around them, they've baked a very special birthday cake: a nine-track compilation featuring producers from home turf and beyond. Showcasing the sounds they've become known for, from synthwave to EBM, techno and indie dance, the release features music from the likes of Anastasia Zems, John Patter, Tadan and close label affiliate Jaroška.

Kri Records strike back with a cassette compilation under an
appropriate name: Trust the Rust! Rust dealers come from all over
the globe.

Nasty electro cuts are served by LA-based Ole Mic Odd who
has released on labels such as Zement, Italian producer and the
mighty Gravitational Waves owner DJ Nephil, British veteran
Chupacabras with seals of approval on L.I.E.S. among others, and
our Russian friend Larionov, who regularly puts out bangers for
Rotterdam Electronix. The Electro part of the compilation is
rounded by the local Ljubljana legend operating as a DJ and
Honest Work label owner, 198319831983.

EBM-ish march is saluted by Black Dot, the duo of Christian Kroupa
and Le Chocolat Noir, soon releasing music on Mechatronica and
responsible for our first release. Christian has also joined forces
with the Dallas and Science Cult native Aura Nox. NYC and wave EBM bangers are represented by R Gamble, Spinal is an up-and-coming producer from Chile having released a great EP on Pildoras Tapes, while Bianco Negativo is an Italian duo behind one of our fav
labels, Marguerite Records.

Ultraviolet is defined as radiation with wavelengths shorter than visible light. The main source of ultraviolet radiation on Earth is the Sun. 
So, in his second release, the New York label Samo Records, like a sun, sends to us a dose of Ultraviolet - product of collaboration from two wonderful producers and djs -  Australian born and NY based Ash Moses aka Tunnel Sings and Missy Livingston aka Moderna who currently resides in Los Angeles.
The EP includes two excellent compositions, among which, even if desired, it is difficult to single out an unequivocal winner: two very different tracks united by same mood. 
In addition to them Samo offers you remixes from the French virtuoso Markus Gibb, New York talent Willie Burns and an extra remix from the owner of the label - Facets, which is not included in the vinyl and will be attached to the release in digi format..
For today premiere i have picked up title track "Ultraviolet" because it looks like that radioactive ray - you can not touch it, but you still feel his destructive power. This is an absolute dancefloor killer, that blends a stick-in-your-head vocal with hard electro for radiantly retrofuturistic results.

Darlyn Vlys’ hit ‘Runner’ was last year’s highlight on Polymath. Reaching the top 10 in it’s genre and gaining support from industry stalwarts, we thought what better way to celebrate than with a fresh batch of remixes.
Heading the pack is label kaiser Third Son, offering a broken beat variation on the theme. The additional vocals, generated through a Roland vocoder, pushes the futuristic concept to the next level.
Following is Correspondant/Permanent Vacation artists, Zombies in Miami. The low slung feel is a welcome addition to the package, and one that suits the early morning sets.
Polymath favourite Anii completes the remix package with a highly playable and energetic take. The acid lead- line compliments the original melody perfectly resulting in a peak-time roller.

Inside the bar, wooden panels stretched from floor to ceiling, each wall decorated with kitsch hangings and ornamental frames. Smoke filled the room, billowing from the cigarettes of the punters that lined the bar. Against the wall an old jukebox played out a dusty record; a woman's voice wailed over the speakers, crying out lyrics about losing a loved one. Suddenly the song flicked on to the next and a thrashing guitar solo echoed around the room. As if in unison everybody rose from their seats and got to their feet, some even to their knees. The weekend had arrived and people were ready to rock all night...

After throwing a host of parties across London, Feelings decided to launch their label Feelings Worldwide back in 2016 with an EP from NTS resident Kasra V. Since then they've welcomed Dream 2 Science, Keith Lorraine, Jovonn and Larry Hou to the label and now their next is from a producer much closer to home; a key player in Feelings since day dot, Brian Summers. Also behind the designs for the party, Girl In The Dark is Brian's debut EP, which explores Italo, electro and leftfield pop. We can't wait to see what he unleashes next...

This time Versalife explores the use of universal codes in electronic music across his quartet that distil classic and modern electro, analogue techno, and experimental bass music into one of the label‘s most eclectic releases to date.

Versalife is the project of Rotterdam-based artist Boris Bunnik, which complements his various monikers such as Conforce, Hexagon, Silent Harbour, and Vernon Felicity with a unique perspective on contemporary electro music.
