Tim ‘Nev’ Prezzano was born in June, 1969. A lifelong resident of New York, he studied Photography, Philosophy and American Art, before turning his attention to early computer language and music theory, and how it related to Human Psychology.

Nev was relatively unknown until a string of mysterious releases appeared on the UK based GPR, specialising in Techno and Electronic music from the early 90’s. They were 6 track mini-LPs; musical odysseys that had shades of early IDM, techno, electro and house. Nev’s musical philosophy was to extract the soul from the machines he worked with - he didn’t believe in artificial intelligence, but ‘software touched with life’. As quoted from a review on Discogs for one of Nev’s releases, ‘no amount of digital trickery can replace an artist with some synths, a sampler and a few good ideas’.

For Nev’s ‘Deep Beep’ EP, this observation is particularly accurate. Originally released in 1991 on the New York based label Metamerism, it came at a time when artists were experimenting with instruments and machines, blurring the lines between genre or style to get to the soul beneath their fingertips. The Frankenstein-esque nature of this sound can be heard across this sprawling 3 tracker, and the EP has garnered cult status online, with the few copies available reaching up to £100.

Sadly, Tim is no longer with us, following his passing in June 2018 from Type 1 diabetes. For this release, we are donating the proceeds from sales to the JDRF, a charity researching and preventing the effects of Type 1 diabetes. We are grateful to give you this opportunity to enter the mysterious world of Tim ‘Nev’ Prezanno, all in good time.

Produced by the ocean during his stay in Portugal, his Lay Back EP exhibits that the frenchman isn't only a talented surfer but also a brilliant producer with a very distinctive sound, a nice blend of breaks, electro & bass music with a pinch of dub influenced sounds. Welcome back boy.

After many years of dedication, devotion and hard work behind the scenes we are happy to share the first album ever released on vinyl by the Wedding Acid Group.

This musical odyssey consists of 8 meticulously crafted tracks, created between 2010 and 2021, representing over a decade of evolution and growth. Each song showcases a unique facet of the trio's musical prowess, with tempos ranging from 100 to 150 bpm.

Disc 1 serves as a testament to the signature sounds of WAG, kicking off with the iconic and mesmerizing dark break journey "Toy Story" at 150 bpm. The energy continues to soar with the pulsating beats of "Colombo Acid" and "Low Moisture Acid," both guaranteed to ignite dance-floors worldwide. The first disc comes to a close with "Lost Memory FM," a true sonic adventure that starts in the abstract, gradually building up to the trademark dance-floor groove that the trio is renowned for.

Disc 2 delves into the introspective and emotive side of WAG's production process. "Optimistic Acid," the sole 4/4 track on the second record, enchants listeners with its rhythmic grooves and dreamy melodies, setting the stage for a captivating journey. "Sunday Circles" takes a detour into deeper realms with its evocative and playful melodies. The final side of the album delves even deeper into emotional territory with "Dog Park Memories," culminating in the breathtaking closing track, "City Gate Funk."

We are humbled and honoured to present this remarkable work by our dear friends, the Wedding Acid Group. As the second album to grace the shelves of Undersound Recordings.

The tree grew tall and proud - who knew the sights it had witnessed across the years. Most days were but a breeze, there was little to observe but for the flying birds and the dreamy tropics which surrounded the tall branches and the deep green leaves. It was called 'Aftetto'... At least that was what it had been kindly named by the owner of the garden - he had planted it and watched it grow across the decades as he dreamed of life far away. The villa on the hillside was alone and quiet. The tree stood high. 

Stijn Sadee is set to release a new EP on Kitjen as he appears on the imprint for the first time. The label has been held in high acclaim featuring music by the likes of Suzanne Kraft, Fantastic Man and more. His appearance does not disappoint and comes with an extravagant Gerd Janson remix.

Hailing from Málaga, Spanish footwork duo @bsnposse are gearing up for their new album, having previously released on labels including Modern Ruin and Slime Recordings. Out 6th June on their own @iberianjuke imprint, 'Take Me Back To The South' marks the label's first ever vinyl release.

A love letter to Chicago's footwork culture (check the DJ Rashad homage on the front cover), it's home to eight sample-heavy 160bpm stormers, sprinkled with a liberal dusting of Mediterranean sunshine.

The night was ominous and dark - nobody wanted to be at war let alone with the terrestrials from beyond the beyond. 

DOTHEDU is set to release his second EP on his own Senseverse imprint. Live acid cuts recorded in one take, no reworks and no added tweaks. Real live shit with vocals straight for the club.

Composed of Keith Tenniswood (aka Radioactive Man) and Freerotation resident Suade Bergemann, the duo's debut EP 'V is for Victor' is out 6th July on Keith's new Asking For Trouble imprint. Recorded over two three-day sessions at Suade's mega studio deep in the north-east, it's home to seven tracks of supremely funky electro/techno cuts.

Solar & Brother Nebula have collaborated on a new EP for Legwork - a fierce assortment of abstract electronics and weirdo dance. Brother Nebula then takes it apart and reconstructs. Good times.

The first chapter concludes with the transcendental Champetrance (Abidjan Speed Chase Mix), a true masterpiece to the identity of Irie Nation and his heritage. Fusing champeta and West African elements, all glued together by a spirit of rave. Proving that people from all over the world can come together under the grooves of Irie Nation!
