Another debut on Pleasure Garden Music, this time it’s from Russian DJ and producer Zakir. Since the start of his career in 2003 he had releases on Slave Records (UK), Stereo Productions (ES), Lo Kik (BR), Nirvana Recordings (US) with remixes for legendary Chus & Ceballos and D.Ramirez.“You Don’t Love Me” is a catchy and groovy electronic deep house track with tricky used samples from classic Jamaican reggae song by Dawn Penn. Remixes come from Mexican duo Balcazar & Sordo (No19 Music, Culprit, Hot Creations, Get Physical Music) and Russian talents Anturage & Amnesia Haze (Kumasi Music, Dear Deer) and Biatlone (Spirit Soul, Sleazy Deep).

Berlin based DJ/Producer Re.you has joined forces with up and coming talent Florian Busse on a 2-track EP, ‘Purple Claim’ on Davide Squillace’s famed label, This And That and following from recent releases on Kompakt, Mobilee, Hot Creations and Keinemusik among others.

Gemini Brothers - Nights With Lorelai

The wallpaper had peeled off the walls of the grand entry hall, revealing the damp wood of the palace's framework. Over time this place had become an empty shell, the exterior now covered in dark green ivy. Once upon a time people had journeyed from across the country to visit this wonderful residence for elegant parties, the kind that were beyond imagination. A spectacle, a fun fair, a place where general debauchery was encouraged and no secrets left the building. Now this place had been forgotten, merely a distant memory that may have always been a dream. 

Following releases on Lobster Theremin and Jungle Gym, Russian producer Marco Lazovic lands on Prague via Sydney label Beef Records. Influenced by 90s rave and breaks, Lazovic has crafted four electro cuts. Tel Aviv DJ and producer Olsvangèr flips Eklektic Disco into a groove-driven house cut that's going to do the business on the dance floor.

The hot fire hissed and spat, it's billowing smoke creating a mushroom-shaped cloud in the thick black darkness. The inhabitants of the village gathered around it fixing their gaze firmly on the rising orange flames. In unison they began to chant softly under their breath, barely an audible murmur leaving their lips at first. Gradually their chant grew louder and louder, more venom and passion creeping in with each word. This voodoo ritual took place every evening and for those under their spell, an unfortunate end was certain. 

Stockholm's Tom Tom Disco deliver their first vinyl release courtesy of Hard Fist label heads Cornelius Doctor & Tushen Raï. The pair team up to bring their signature sound to the label via psychedelic rhythms, tribal EBM and cold wave. Lithuanian producer Roe Deers is taking care of the remix on our pick, employing trippy drum work and layering over haunting spoken word.

For more than the last decade, @ron-flatter has been enriching the house and techno landscape with his own direct and energetic productions and warm, groove-driven DJ sets. Now we are happy to welcome him to our Ritter Butzke Studio family with his tracks “Woodrow” and “Off Ramp”.

“Woodrow” pumps hard and pushes with a distorted and noisy hook. Squeaky but to be taken seriously the track finds his climax with a vocal supported main break and flute rising pads.

“Off Ramp” feels like a half pipe skate jump. A juddering 16th theme in bass, hihats and rythmics gives it a certain thrill. Contrasting light and moving pads contrapoint it with a joyfull feeling jumpin “off ramp”.
