Following the same pattern as its initial two releases, @where-were-we  is back with EP004 in a shape of a remix pack: retaining two remixers from the previous pack and introducing two new names on the bill. Both Hong Kong via Nantes Romain FX and Vilnius italo adept @blackfeeling delivered massive remixes in the first pack and boy they don't disappoint yet again. Romain has totally reworked the track and infused it with exotic oriental sounds and Black Feeling hits all the marks once again with his signature feel-good italo house vibes.
Since Blaise Balda has already released one EP on Rees' Paradiso Records, it was natural to ask Adam for a remix. Middlesbrough talent shines agent hitting all the right notes and keeping the vibe joyous and the energy pure.
Last but not least are Berlin's italo duo Sauvage World from Slow Motion/Wrong Era fame. Guys are raising the tempo up to 125, tweaking a few bits here and there and adding just a little bit extra of their own magic to make it sound like a proper italo banger for not-so-wrong era we all find ourselves in.

In the midst of the desert there was little sign of any life. They watched out from their land cruiser towards the burning sand and gazed upon what could only be described as a holy hell. This was supposed to be a place of great miracles, of beauty and towering glory. However, for now it was simply a burning expanse of open wasteland in the back end of nowhere. The jeep's engine spluttered slightly as they moved off towards the dying sun, they were but a little black shadow against a backdrop of eternity. 

Curses is a producer whom we have been supportive of at Ransom Note for many years, his music blurs the lines between house, techno, krautrock, italo and all sorts of other obscure experimental fringes. This new EP for Wrong Era is fierce.

Stijn Sadée is becoming somewhat of a XXX regular. Having previously released on Bordello A Parigi and Kitjen, the Dutch DJ, producer and live performer graces the SHMLSS run record label once again with his open-minded approach towards acid-driven heavy hitters, tropically-tinged atmospherics and avant-garde house stylistics. Next to the four originals, Lithuanian tastemaker Manfredas supplies a stellar remix. After witnessing Sadée perform live at a festival in Amsterdam, the two connected and the idea of a remix was born. The record comes with an artwork collaboration between Stijn and his brother Thomas Sadée.

Given their common addiction for obscure club sounds, they decide to create this project together. After having released several reworks, edits and remixes, their first EP will be out in October by the Colombian label @kaputtwav .

Chat Noir Rec. is very proud to announce the forthcoming release of the second volume of its House de France compilation. This new project will include 16 exclusive titles in digital and will be accompanied by the release of a "Vinyl Sampler ”which will include 6 titles from the digital version. Tracklisting is inspired by the 90s mixed compilation’s model: it is built like a DJ set with an evolution and coherent sequences between the tracks.

The project aims to show the diversity of the new French house scene by highlighting different sub-genres of this movement: ambient, deep-house, tech-house, acid, minimal,italo-disco, electrofunk… The artists present on this compilation represent the future of our scene and we are very proud to push them forward.

Born in Chile and living in Sweden, Patricio Cabezas is a multi-talented musician/producer. After years as a touring bass player, he recommitted himself to electronic music, trading his pickups for a circuit board in search of the boundaries of sound.
Since childhood Cabezas has thrown himself into the in-between. With a life of hybrid timezones, cultures and identities, his approach to music is similarly liminal. Driven by discovery and experimentation, Cabezas hybridizes genres, themes and instrumenta- tion to create electronic music that lives on the edge, built for the mains, headphones and everywhere in between.
