The machinery came to a clattering halt, the sheer sound of it forcing the entire building to judder and shake. The factory had seen better days; the brickwork was crumbling away, the smell of dust and oil hung thick in the air and clung to your clothes. It was a wonder it still operated as it did, that it even opened on a daily basis or that it managed to retain enough staff to keeping things ticking over. Slowly but surely its purpose was becoming defunct, but it would cling on to life for as long as humanly possible...

Cyphon Recordings next signing have made a name for themselves under a number of different aliases. The Tijuana-based brother duo have had deep house outings as Soul of Hex and a debut as Mano De Fuego on Underground Resistance, but with this brand new project, Cyborg Nerve, their focus is firmly on electro. Balancing crystallised intergalactic cuts and raw, machine funk grooves, the EP is a triumphant introduction to the newest musical string to the Vicario Musique Recordings bow.

Versalife aka Boris Bunnik is one of the most respected producers in electro, recording for many of the truly great Dutch labels including Delsin, Clone, Rush Hour and Frustrated Funk as well as cutting edge imprints like Brokntoys, Shipwreck and Transcendent. Bunnik has toured Versalife live extensively across the world, as recently featured on Boiler Room. Bunnik now presents his debut release for 20/20 Vision as the label continues it’s path into the world of pure electronic music. 

This record is available now at all fine record shops and will release digitally on July 15th.

Danny Daze returns to his own Omnidisc imprint for the Propaganda & Manipulation EP. Following the pounding electro of 2019’s Pulmotor EP with DeFeKT and a solo EP of malfunctioning techno for Moustache Records, the Miami don returns with four rough, gritty and grounded tracks, two of which feature Brazillian producer and Omnidisc affiliate RHR.

Danny has been collaborating with RHR since 2015 when he first received his demos from the São Paulo favelas. Since then Danny has taken RHR under his wing, featuring the talented producer on Omnidisc showcases and releasing the collaborative Ginga EP in 2016 plus RHR’s solo debut 12” last year on Omnidisc. RHR is once again back on Omnidisc, assisting Danny with some of his most explorative productions yet.
Tough, hip-hop infected ‘Planet’, which closes out the EP with crunchy 808 kicks and a powerfully throbbing low end.
