'Flow Pattern' is one of two new cuts off of Nashville-based producer Body Copy's upcoming EP titled 'Archetype'. This track features a heavy, syncopated kick pattern and intricate
percussion work that supports a haunting grainy vocal sample. Underlying the track is a warm jazz-inflected chord progression that gives way to a dizzying sub-bass line. The EP will be released April 16, 2021, on Body Cuts. The label was started by Body Copy in 2019 and has since had releases featured on Apple Music's 'Techno' and 'Next Tracks' playlists as well as on Spotify's 'Fresh Finds'.

Dam Swindle's Maarten Smeets, aka Wanderist, launches his Transient Nature imprint this April with four-track EP 'Think Potential' from Dukwa.
Transient Nature is a label dedicated to the world of machine funk with a sonic aesthetic of off-kilter techno and electro, and the first release sees Dukwa deliver an EP as varied as it is powerful. Transient Nature has a busy 2021 planned with releases from Detroit's Scan7, Black Cadmium and Maarten's solo project: Wanderist. The 'Think Potential' EP is deeply rooted in gritty electronics and illustrates the producer's love for hardware and vintage techniques - three of the tracks are hardware jams recorded straight to tape.

The driving Rhodes licks and fluttering percussion on 'Who Cares' gets the EP rolling before the distorted electronica and stabbing 303s fuse harmoniously on 'High Position'. Up next, 'It's U' delivers an old-school tinged electro number with its slamming drums, robotic vocals and squeaking acid lines. The EP closer, 'Eye2eye' sees Dukwa moving deeper into the electronica territory with industrial drums and dreamy piano lines working together with mesmerising effect.

With recent output ranging from Detroit house inspired MPC-driven tracks to more conceptual electronic work, Dukwa's soulful yet dynamic releases for the likes of Numbers, Don't Be Afraid and his eponymous imprint have won a wide range of support as well as picking up a coveted 'Hottest Record in The World' from the BBC's Annie Mac.

"Out with the old and in with the new" - that's what they always say. But it's never that easy in practice. The transition is always strange: it's a period of change, sometimes of destruction, definitely of adjustment. Morphing from one form slowly into the next, prompted by actions of your own doing, or someone elses. Things are going to be different and, unwilling or willing, you have to deal with it.

Having been immersed in music culture from a young age, becoming hooked on collecting records as well as training as a sound engineer, Italian DJ and producer David Agrella is now taking things up a notch with the launch of his new label, Agrellomatica Records. Named after his monthly radio show on Bloop, the imprint will be a space for his musical inspirations which bridge many different strains of electronic music. For his first outing he offers up a four tracker, 'Transition', which melds together fluid drum patterns, rubbery synth lines, soaring pads and dreamy electro grooves.

Producing under Euclio moniker since his early dubstep years, Prague based architect by the time shaped his vibes to more club-oriented territories.., yet still forming both unusually structured and (thus) strangely catchy environment and beat patterns..
But where to move when there are no dancefloors at all?

His addition Cyno is likely taking place at voluntarily dissociated living rooms, outputting undetermined schizoid of intensions to dance, but in mostly isolated spaces.. experiencing lonely happiness and moments of introversion. Like a look onto smile and grin of the presence, with the black coloured lipstick on.

While original versions feel weirdly charming and somehow pure and simple in its effectiveness - tight percussions are riding like razor edges over surrounding darken lights of the atmospheres, beats‘ clips and pieces swarming with bubbling and blopping synths..; remixers puts heavy-atmo lines and waves, observing sound material, worming you, or hypnotise.. But still, there’s enough space to drow or sink in..

After self-releasing two EPS, 'Violet' and 'Submerged', Bristol stalwart Om Unit returns with a full length album 'Acid Dub Studies' which builds on his personal, creative journey motivated by curiosity and a frustration with the rigidity of the musical world he was previously existing within. Through the use of 303 acid basslines, dub reggae influences and elements from the hazier end of dub techno and ambient, Om Unit crafts a release that seeks to part ways with categorisation and expectation, working within an honest and organic framework.
