Revshark is back on Mystictrax, delivering a new chapter in his evolving bass chronicles with «Simulacra». After his «Integrity» album and participation on «Code» compilation on a label, Slava release a stunning ambient EP on система | system label called «Loose Ends». But now he is back with a powerful breakbeat and basslines.

The album kicks off with «With Me», where floor-shaking low-end riff morph into AI-inspired lead vocal hooks, underscored by house-inflected chords and strings. This sets the stage for «Soul», tune that plunges listeners into a dystopian cyberpunk landscape with its breakbeats and echoing vocal samples. In «Holographic Glimpse», Revshark delves into his signature style of melodic, non-linear arrangements, featuring ethereal guitar lines and shoegazy chord progressions, all supported by a resonant sub-bass. The journey concludes with «Simulacra», a track brimming with mutated, morphing future bass sounds and a dark, immersive vibe.

This EP showcases synthesizers and VCV Rack. The sound explores the sensations of wind and the vast, heavy landscape of the mind.
Rather than imitating the physical world, it channels perception — translating emotional states into abstract sonic forms.
Noise and glitch elements represent the raw, untamed aspects of the ocean, not as it sounds, but as it feels.

Through generative techniques, where algorithms influence structure and detail, the composition mimics the unpredictable nature of waves, thoughts, and shifting inner currents. The result is not a direct simulation, but an evolving soundscape that captures the movement and instability of an internal ocean.

This ocean is metaphorical — an ocean of emotion, memory, and perception. It has little in common with literal wave sounds but resonates as a deep, sensory reflection of a mental state.

The goal is not realism, but transformation: to turn the intangible into an auditory environment. This process creates a unique listening space where meaning is felt, not explained.
The result is a deeply personal landscape, shaped by resonance, dissonance, and silence, where the listener is free to drift, dissolve, or reassemble within the sound.

I want you to remember abstract soundscapes that evoke memory, mind, emotion, and altered states.

The car raced towards the finish line at a hurtling pace. In pursuit there was a squadron of motors parading proudly in the wake of the smoke trail which blazed up high amidst the sky. Burning rubber lingered in the air and the crowd of spectators watched on in awe at the sheer speed and scale of the display. Some had disputed the validity of the race, some had even claimed that the sport was for suckers and cheats. What did they know about speed anyway? This was it. 

Dormir are an Australian group from Melbourne, they are set to release a new EP on Pelvis Records & Burning Rose, new wave, dream like electronics with a sense of nostalgia. The EP is rounded off by two remixes by both Cop Envy and Leo James. It is the first which we bring to you today.

As the name implies, Transmitting Illicit Logic is a tale that can’t be understood solely with our binary brain cells. Reality always escapes the corridors of the mind and fails to be caught in it’s believed opinions and oppositions. Cosmic Force is here to guide you through the maze and helps you to relax these muscles, trading it for a more direct energetic connection that will put you into hyperspace. 

Mighty Envy is an unforgiving piece of arp centred electro, pushing the envelope without letting go of the gas pedal. Pulsating bells along the way signal you onto the cosmic runway, there is no space left except to surrender. Haunted By My Past accelerates to even further places. Inspired by EBM it’s a funky dance floor workout in which a sexy AI tells you everything about you you’ve never wanted to know. The great digital escape, you’re trying to make way to the reboot button but finally find out the damn thing doesn’t exist.

In Transmitting Illicit Logic we first encounter an older AI model which got stuck in one of its own created habits and as a consequence is only left spitting out deranging synth arpeggio’s. After we pass him we find a doorway to a hidden bar… the rest is history. Grand Theft Auto meets stripped back robot moves. Finally, we have Silicon Scally remixing Transmitting Illicit Logic, warping you to an even tougher and weirder dimension.
