La Belle label boss Golden Bug hails from Paris and is a record producer, label owner, DJ, groove sculptor and metal sculptor who has had great solo success with singles on Gomma and recently Ivan Smagghe's label, Les Disques De La Mort. This exquisite track from his new EP has been recrafted by Glasgow's Mr TC, and is an opiatic, drawn out, trippy affair, pinging and bubbling ahead of you, with a sultry vocal which comes from somewhere behind you in the hashish mist.

PREMIERE: Golden Bug (Feat. Julienne Dessagne) - Un Paradis Artificiel (MR TC Remix)[La Belle]

@Cosmic-Pint-Glass started in a cellor of a Norwich pub called the Bicycle Shop as an excuse to go down the pub and spin some records. We used to have live electronic acts set up on the pub tables and play records in the cupboard under the stairs.

To date most of the releases have been pub jams, however CPG010 moves into techno territory in style with 2 of artists we’re big fans of…. Frak and @JackPattern. The latter known for the @lustpoderosa label and their dj sets taking revellers on dark trippy journeys through time and space. A fusion of disco, acid, industrial, techno - meltdown.

Kernkraft translates as Nuclear Power and from the outset reverberating sequences visualise a bleak working environment. Mechanical sequences rotate. Clouds of sparking particles swirl overhead menacingly. A kick drum stumbles into actions, the machine has powered up. Cold hi-hats shimmer, and hollow synths give the feel of some sort of labouring workforce.
 
Pressed to black 10" vinyl to 300 copies with hand finished painted sleeves.

PREMIERE - Jack Pattern - Kernkraft (Cosmic Pint Glass)

Israeli imprint @Unterman delivers a new debut EP courtesy of @YaniAni, a fellow Tel Avivian who is a DJ, producer and visual artist now based in Holland.

Synths are tweaked and guitar licks chopped up across three original tracks where Yani shares a glimpse of his influences, spanning new wave, punk, indie, nu disco and rhythm tracks. Opener and title track “Yalla Bo” is the twinkling subtropical chugger, “Ohevet” is the poster track for post-punk à la Tel Aviv and “Hectic Living Rhythm” closes the trio of originals with an energy lifting alloy of body-shaking percussions, gangsta feels guitars and tripped out noises galore. D.Y.O.R. completes the package with a rework of the title track.

Norwegian producer Fjordfunk delivers his first solo album on his Alo imprint this September entitled ‘Infinite Zest’. Jann Marius Dahle aka Fjordfunk is a producer from Norway who’s been releasing records since 1998 on labels such as Trailer Park, MBF and Prins Thomas’ Tamburin imprint. In 2000 he partnered up with K.Y.D. and formed the group K.Y.D. & Kango going on to work with labels Slip´N´Slide, Estereo, Ascension, Defender, Henya and Beatservice in addition to performing live at seminal clubs such as Panorama Bar, Fabric and Week-end. In 2008 Jann started his Luna Flicks imprint with Strangefruit releasing music from artists such as Ost & Kjex, Skatebård, Hardway Bros and himself picking up support from the likes of DJ Harvey, Andrew Weatherall, Bjorn Torske, Bill Brewster, Todd Terje, Jennifer Cardini and many more. After almost fifteen years living in Oslo and Berlin he moved back to his native town of Harstad and started working on his ‘Infinite Zest’ album inspired by an array of musical styles and experiences that helped shape the story.
‘Baboobap’ then delivers spaced-out modulations, piercing grooves and meditative elements.

Founder of the platform Sexy Dinosaur From Outer Space, Offenbach-based Celestino defines himself as 'just a dinosaur playing music for love since 1992'. A veteran DJ and newcomer producer who likes to explore as many music genres as possible in his sets and productions. The Brazilian artist makes his debut on When Disco Goes Wrong with a solid original track beautifully remixed by Mindbender and Högt I Tak.
