The North Wind

Nous'klaer welcomes @Cosime, a collaborative project between longtime companions Arif and Job. Their debut EP consists of three tracks, including an outstanding version of the A1. Most of the record was recorded and arranged on several autumn days, home away from home, facing a freshwater lake. 

Field recordings, made on a former island that is now a peninsula, provide the basis of the Hilary EP. On the B side the recordings lay over solid drum programming, centred on the offbeat hat. On the A side Fyr offers a more fluid take, resulting in a splendid play of samples and rhythms sewn together. The alternative take of Fyr takes on an anything-goes approach, highly club appropriate though moving away from the rhythm backbone. Excellent music for pedaloes.

Bristol based imprint FutureBoogie delivers rock solid nu-disco and house 12"s for already five years now. Their latest release to date by Lauer certainly didn't disappoint and they're now rolling into spring
with a heavyweight one from dastardly duo Ron & Neil Aka Ron Basejam and Neil Diablo, who between them bring years of musical chops and (most importantly) "the funk" to the table.
In its Original Mix, ‘Perdre Son Éclat’ is a breezy yet sturdy slice of atmospheric synth dance, resplendent with swirling riffs and stammering bass. A thunderous Roland CR-78 drum pattern keeps everything in check, and its sultry french vocals flitter between spoken word and harmonious refrains, lacing the track with a superb "new wave" feel.
Here premiered, a remix comes courtesy of Man Power, the musical enigma that traded on his anonymity for a couple of years before coming clean as the English DJ/producer Geoff Kirkwood. Having released on labels like Hivern, Throne Of Blood and Correspondant, Man Power takes "Perdre Son Éclat" into even deeper territories, crafting a moody and spacious version that respectfully stays close to the original mix. Out 26th of April !

When Harold Boué aka Abstraxion invited Fantastic Man into his studio after playing together the night before he didn't knew he was planting the seed for a new project. Three cuts driven by warmly distorted rhythms, bursts of primitive drums, rubbery synths and uplifting chants that overall feel like the first sunrays after an excursion through a dark cave: both blinding and blissful.

The second record for the celebrations of the 50th Uncanny Valley release is peppered with familiar faces and artists who will release for the first time on the Dresden based label. After PINK anticipated the coming summer, RED creates a slightly menacing heat lightning. The perfect soundtrack for the phenomenon that is commonly known as Aurora Polaris. 

The American-Australian duo The Golden Filter make their debut on Uncanny Valley. And it’s a tailor-made start. THE PULL is centered around minimalistic drum work, dystopian pads and sparse vocal dots that aim for an inward catharsis. A returnee after eight years is mysterious Mayan Gold from Dresden. His KOMM UND ENTSPANNE (means come and relax) rides on acidic waves and embracing synths, which develop an enormous pull effect on the dance floor. 
Norwegian Charlotte Bendiks’ first track on Uncanny Valley continues the sound language she developed on Cómeme. PASCO is a Percussion-heavy track that sounds just as compelling as it is disturbingly beautiful. Music to lose your mind to. Finally, Austin-based artist Katrina Fairlee teams up with Uncanny Valley-stable Sneaker for the psychedelic drum lesson that is OAK.
