@seven-hills-records is pleased to announce the next outing from Rob James & @burnskipower's new project, North Phase.

Comprising four brilliant, groove-laden tracks, the 'Cyclone' EP is one of their favourites so far. The title-track, 'Cyclone', bumps and rolls atop a sneaky bassline, and keeps you locked in with a unique, shifted synth hook. The similarly pumping 'Time Zone Unknown' keeps the groove straighter, with added gnarliness from a crisp synth line designed to cut its way to the centre of the dancefloor.

On the flip, the dark and super-heavy 'Room 1' spirals and builds before hitting hard with a chestplate bassline. The more lilting 'Groove Merchant' sits on the B2, slightly sci-fi and rounding things off in style.

Portuguese producer Silvestre returns with an EP on Moxie’s On Loop imprint. Side A serves up two tracks aimed directly at the dancefloor. 

First up 'Out of Control', a Reggaeton infused House track, with touches of UK Funky and Hard-drum – the perfect curve ball moment. Following this is ‘Party’ - an upfront fast-paced Electro tune with tons of swing, Brazilian funk drums, and a helping of I.D.M.

On Side-B are ‘Litrosa’ & ‘Medronho’ – two short but sweet leftfield pop tools. Both tracks are reminiscent of 80’s post-punk, blended with melancholic Trap hooks, showing Silvestre’s ability to finesse a variety of styles.

The city was dimly lit and it was hard to recognise the faces which passed by the window. Perhaps ge knew some of them from days gone by. After all, once upon a time he was out here everyday.

The bell rang suddenly and the doors rattled open.

He glanced upwards only to be greeted with a familiar smile. The kind he hadn’t seen for quite a while, the wild sort which meant that what came next was anyones guess.

Coe is set to release a stormer of a two track EP on First Second Label. This one holds no punches and is set for dark basements, big soundsystems and beyond. It bangs and rumbles with a throb.

This 5-track EP features three original compositions that seamlessly blend an uplifting yet surreal vibe, reminding us that alien raves are a reality. With pulsating, sometimes psychedelic grooves, each track envelops the listener in a trance-like journey. With constant energy transmission the vibes are continuously held high.

Adding to these stellar compositions the two remixes by Gorelikas & Cport Cistema excell the emotional bliss. Gorelikas’ remix of “Forward” amplifies the bass and drives the track with progressive housey-acid-infused sounds, while CPort Cistema’s remix of “Union” closes the EP on a comforting note. The broken beat,  lush, two-part melodies and healing basslines create a warm embrace we all dearly need and brings the EP full circle.

The clouds rolled by overhead, an oppressive grey weight loomed above towerblocks and skyscrapers, they sat empty in the light of day. Once this place had been a great kingdom of wild intrigue, careless fun and abandon. Yet now here it stood, empty and damaged - a city lost to the depths of time. A metamorphosis in the truest sense. 

Hugo Massien is set to release a wonderful new album on E-Beamz, a record full of euphoric textures and tones. It's laced with promise and blurs the lines between fully fledged rave and deep, pensive electronics.
