longer. Along with her story, it goes through a before, an after, and a present moment.
In the beginning, there's the party, in the massive alchemy of a booming culture. A free and unbridled
party, in a crossroads of sound, in unison. The rhythms, sometimes tribal, sometimes haunting, blend
with a tormented melancholy. Closed in a box, open in a field, the aim is the same: to lose all its
elements.
Then time stops and space expands. Darkness reigns as the mind gradually ignites until it
reaches explosion point. Consciousness vibrates as the body comes alive. The orchestra grows
louder and louder until it reaches its peak.
Finally, reality returns, a future that hurts. The clock starts ticking again, and the field of vision

Chicago-based experimental multidisciplinary artist Pedrolino has been producing music and organizing events for the past 10 years, releasing music over the last five years under names like Pedrolino, Baka, and performing as DJ Chainsawman and Holey Head. They have released music on labels such as Soil, Shi Shi, Forkha, OSM Tapes, and Northern Industrial Movement. Pedrolino’s productions are brutal and uncompromising, favoring complexity while avoidingoverly intellectual posturing. “The goal has always been to create art that we can live in—a work that addresses us as much as we address it, connecting on an undeniably human level”.

Bjarki Runar Sigurðarson returns to the concept album format, with ‘A Guide To Hellthier Lifestyle’. It’s the first LP to be released on Differance, which he co-founded with the artist Thomas Harrington Rawle.

‘A Guide To Hellthier Lifestyle’ explores the psychological landscape of contemporary social issues, offering a sideways rumination on lifestyle dilemmas and wellness obsessions, presenting itself as a response to the modern condition. It combines storytelling with innovative sound textures – encouraging listeners to pause and contemplate the absurdities of contemporary life. Neither a critique nor an endorsement, it represents an honest exploration of our world through Bjarki’s sonic lens, gleaming a heart of darkness, but eventually finding light.

The album utilises hyper-stereo techniques, soothing melodies, complex audio structures, AI-generated voices and sampled vocals – influenced by Coil, Genesis P- Orridge, and Paul Lansky. Bjarki investigates how specific frequencies can impact consciousness, awareness, mood, and mental state, thereby influencing our perception of reality. His vaporous sound design provides a listening experience that bridges the physical and imaginative realms; sometimes placing the listener in contemplative sanctuary, and at others making them lost – somewhere strange, uneasy, disconnected.

The basement was off limits, it had been for as long as her elders had owned the house. No questions were ever asked, its thick rusting bolts and chains issued enough of a message. But curiosity had become her; she'd taken to sitting by the door, ear pressed firmly on the wood listening intently. From the depths she thought she could make out heavy breathing and writhing limbs, an unknown living specimen chained below. Her fear was blinkered by a mounting desire to know what was beyond the door; she would find out, there would be no more secrets.

Having been a permanent fixture at Dekmantel festival for several years, in 2019 Dutch DJ and producer Identified Patient made something of a long-awaited debut on the festival's UFO label offshoot. Expanding on his signature style - a murky cocktail of industrial, electro, synth-rock and minimal wave - he now makes his return to the imprint with Nerve Deposit aided by his new toy, a GRP A4 synthesiser, which helps coerce the five tracks into new realms. Irregular dubstep rhythms sit alongside frenetic breakbeat and throbbing hardcore, signalling a new direction for the Pinkman regular, yet tonally he continues to linger in the shadows.
