The bubbles drifted across the room as the crowd of people watched them rise into the great beyond and disappear. There was something fascinating about the way in which they floated and danced effortlessly upon the breeze.

From time to time they'd catch an effervescent glow beneath the sunbeams which coursed in through the windows illuminating what would otherwise be darkness.

Then they would simply pop.

It was as if they had never been there, much like a thought or a memory or a dream. They simply came and went.

Igaxx releases a new EP on Third Place Records, the label run and championed by Will Hofbauer. This one features a delicate assortment of downtempo electronics with this track in particular reminding us of the acid infused balearic era of the 90's.

Following the success of our first Club Unity compilation in 2022, which raised over £15,000 for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, we return with a second instalment - this time in support of children affected by the crisis in Palestine.

The second track on the New Dawn EP is called Home Alone and it is probably my favourite one on here.

It's giving me 3am dark room, big sound system vibes which is really where I want to be IRL.

It's definitely been too long since I was in an environment like that and listening back to this one is making me need to book tickets to a night out asap.

Bolam’s ‘Suspended Animation’ EP is the first release from Space Dust – a new reality within the Alien Communications universe. On a record that’s as well-rounded as it is diverse, ‘Florion Heights’ launches the EP into the stratosphere and beyond, with high-energy drums and rich, optimistic synths leading into a euphoric crescendo, all locked together with a fat, bobbing bassline. ‘Comfort Zone’ is the perfect proceeder as you enter inter-stellar space, floating in its lavish, airy pads, deep bass and snappy broken beats… with crystal tones layered harmoniously together resulting in a track filled with positivity and charm. Wrapping up the record is ‘The Mothership’ – a near 10-minute voyage, abducting the listener with a hypnotising rhythm and bassline that carries the cinematic atmospherics and progression into a weird and wonderful finale.
