Following standout appearances on Feel My Bicep, Unknown To The Unknown, and E-MISSIONS, Irish-born DJ/producer Cromby hits Rekids with a four-track EP of crisp techno cuts. Heavily utilising the sound of hardware across the release, ‘Twisted Future EP’ sees Cromby explore the depths of these classic sound palettes over robust techno frameworks. 

‘IXP-42’ brings crunching drums and wiggling synths together for over two minutes, building tension before eventually, the much-awaited bassline comes in thick and fast. ‘Follow The Bass’ brings a dose of the unusual to proceedings, with snaking FM leads modulating throughout a maze of sizzling percussion.

On the flip, Bleep meets Baltimore on ‘Relief’, with meaty acid lines, vocals and clattering drums sparring with each other across the track, while ‘Vortex’ rounds off the release, with bright shimmering stabs peppering the stomping drums and distinct squelch of the 303.

She'd noticed a change in his temperament, it wasn't just the puffed up eyes and wet cheeks that were a giveaway. His door remained closed and his conversations had been reduced to one or two word sentences. She knew she didn't have to say much, she just wanted to let him know she was there; an ear for anything he wanted to divulge, whenever that may be. She didn't have all the answers but she had all the time in the world to listen to him.

To mark mental health awareness month, South London-based cassette label Sticky Tapes have rounded up several producers for a six-track mini-comp titled ‘hey, do you need someone to talk to?’. Known for their charity-indebted tape mixes, which have featured contributions from Violet and ELLES, CC:DISCO! and Barbara Boeing and many others, this new comp comes as a digital only release this time round and brings together the likes of Tim Reaper, Ell Murphy & Picasso, PRAYER, IN2STELLAR, Theo Everyday and Kitsta.

As always all proceeds from the release will be donated to charity, and this time round they're focusing on three mental health helplines, The Samaritans, SANEline and Switchboard, who are all doing incredible work for those who need someone to talk to when they need it most.

To raise further awareness of the helplines, Sticky Tapes will be posting 500 posters all over London that feature rip tickets with the helpline numbers.

PREMIERE: IN2STELLAR - Countertransference [Sticky Tapes]

This Is Our Time warmly welcomes Tifra from Utrecht into the TIOT family and super pumped to have his five-track EP titled 'Coral Fractals' in its catalogue. "The EP gives a nice reflection imo of different sounds I like to produce" - wrote the artist for us, so let's see what kind tracks we got from this wide palette.

We start off with the lively 'Ahora', synth rays emerging from multi-layered drum patterns chased by restless acid serpents, a track that effortlessly shakes you up and gets your blood pumping. Next up is the EP's title track, 'Coral Fractals'. A dark and ominous tech-stomper rolling with the weight of the ocean with small chirps that rise from the depths like bubbles.

We find ourselves entangled in mycelium with the goa trance '4th Dimension' with its constantly coiling melodies and floating harmonies. Cueing up the last two tracks first we have 'Copal' where Tifra pulls influence from the early/mid-90s progressive house tracks sprinkling in some classic voice sample just to complete the warehouse rave feel. The EP closer is 'Gloomy Glitch' a sinister and menacing low-mid tempo ritual, leaving us with an eerie feeling at the end of this journey.
