There were always two sides to every story — whether you heard them both was another question. Whoever got there first generally had the upper hand anyway, anything that followed was subject to much more interrogation. Suspicion shrouded every fact and figure, speculation veered the conversation away from the matter at hand; you never get any closer to knowing the real truth. 

At just 19 years old, Utrecht-based producer Ineffekt's productions far belie his years. After making his debut last year on Dutch label Intercept with his 'Solaris' EP, he makes his return for his first ever long player, which retains the distinctive rhythms and warm subs we heard on his debut, but this time dives deeper into playful and euphoric melodies. A vibrant and colourful wash of synths, dreamy vocal snippets and fuzzy percussion; the 10 tracks on 'Kora' each have their own unique flavour and groove.

Binary Digit 

From his teenage years' bedroom to this day, Grenoble based artist Binary Digit never stopped making electronic music.
His sound could be described as an out-of-category style brought together in a melodious mix between acid techno, braindance and crisp electro, often dripped in accents of melancholy. A mix of tapes, vintage synthesizers, modern-day software and a bit of DIY spirit, allow him to create this unique and powerful experience.

After albums published by Opal Tapes and Stochastic Releases, appearances on various compilations for Acid Waxa, Fundamental Records, KAOS and EPs on labels such as Dream Ticket, Zeitnot and Seven Hills Records; he launched his own label Postal Code Records on which he dropped the first EP at the beginning of this year.

Not only do the productions make this man stand out; you can also watch this man bring dancefloors to live next to the likes of DMX Krew, Reedale Rise, Legowelt, Voiron and just 2 months ago a brilliant edition of Bubblebath with DJ Fuckoff and Cyan85. Hopefully, we will catch him there again very soon, but until then...

PHXS19 ‘Portals’ EP is coming by the Brooklyn based Zeta Sect, featuring 70 minutes of blistering vintage drum machines contrasted against a haze of synthesis. Here Zeta Sect invites the listener to experience a fresh perspective with the insurgency of beautifully composed synth-wave, electronic body music and  synth pop treads into new and unique territory for your body and soul. The deadpan delivery of spoken word passages in conjunction with the intricate use of delay blends the world of synth inspired genres with a distinct tinge of 1980’s industrial flavour.
