PREMIERE : DJ Frankie - Waiting

This place was like a dream, a paradise beneath the clouds. Travelling downstream, rowing in Eden they watched as the tall reeds and the exotic birds passed by on the riverbank. Sat upon their little wooden boat they were at peace with the world as the rain began to fall softly all around them, it was not cold but warm and they smiled as they looked up at the heavens above. The clouds did not bother them any more for they had learnt to exist beneath the haze. 

Optimo Music are back with another release in their digital danceforce series. The series of releases is becoming quite the force having acted as an outlet for the likes of Tornado Wallace, Marcus Worgull, Vanessa Worm, Feon, Theus Mago and more. 

Now it's Bleaching Agent's turn to release a two track stormer of an EP described by himself below:

“A doe-eyed rave anthem replete with lush strings pushed to breaking point and a fistful of tuneful pleeps thrown in for good measure”.

The receptive inner flow circumvents the earthly gushes of identical trigrams, enterprises, tunnels and hexagram radiation. Slowly we burn. The mind is free as it floats its way into a Logical Rudeness of loops and psychedelic dust. Gently brush off the history of the Book of Changes and, believe me, we will forever be in this together."

The Hague-based label Oracle Bones return for their second release following February's inaugural release from JEANS. Continuing the influences heard on that release like trance, techno and jungle, Amsterdam's Rigson also adds flavours like acid, electro and techno into the mix across the four tracks. Our pick, 'Logical Rudeness', is a haunting electro cut, carried along by rumbling bass and hypnotic synth lines.

Funnuvojere Records is the label run by Massimiliano Pagliara, an imprint which has evolved from strength to strength in recent times. The next release to appear on the imprint is by Goodbye Mirage, a deep pensive EP for early mornings and late, euphoric nights.

The bowl of liquid in front of her teemed with different smells; vivid in its colours that swirled and bled into one another in hypnotic shapes. She was intrigued at what possible effects would ensue after she gulped this down, the stories thus far hadn't given much away. She didn't know what to put that down to, but had come to the decision she simply had to find out for herself. Holding her nose tight she drank the mystery concoction down in one. Now to exercise patience...

After three years of putting on parties in Bangkok, the group of friends behind the Karma Klique collective have embarked upon a new mission, launching their label Siamese Twins Records. Through working with local Asian artists, the objective is to create a space for exploration to a form a dialogue of new sounds, and they're starting life with an EP from Mogambo, the collaborative project of label co-founder Sunju and multi-instrumentalist Jerom Doudet. Cobra, offers up four tracks fuelled by their shared love of Bollywood movies, electronica and psychedelic gongs, matching hypnotic grooves with elements of 90s Goa, slow trance and tribal percussion.

The symbols were carved onto the walls with delicate precision, they had been there for thousands of years untouched and unfound since the great collapse. Now after all this time they had been restored and reborn, given a new lease of life in order to teach an inspire the younger generations. This had once been a celebration, a triumphant affair and an honour to the gods, Dionysia. 

Barking is set to release a new EP on Barcelona based record label OPENTHENEXT, the release also features an enticing remix by Heap. Barking is an up and coming Berlin based Australian producer. One to keep an eye on for sure.

Back in 1999, label boss Ewan Jansen took receipt of demo tapes by Kai Kroker (AKA Rawell) who subsequently appeared on Red Ember’s very first compilation record ‘Deepsounds One’.
These forgotten demos (lost even to Rawell himself) plus further works from 1995-2002, span a 2LP release of deeply emotive minimal house, techno & leftfield; an earnest synthesis of minimalism and romance from Berlin in the 90s. Included also is an ambient/downbeat 6-track digital EP (including the original version of ‘Tailwind’).

Move D’s gloriously moody and life-affirming ‘90s galore mix’ of ‘Tailwind’ is a very special reunion between close friends; the pair’s last collaboration dates back to 2005 under the ‘Faked.Info’ moniker and both recorded together along with Jamie Hodge under the collective ‘Studio Pankow’.

Flying between the stars in the dense blackness of outer space, he could barely see what lay before him but for the thick fog and flickering lights which danced millions of miles away in the distance.
