Leaving the surgery he began to listen to the sweet sounds which reverberated loudly all around him, he placed a spring in his step and went forth about his day with a flurry and a shuffle. 

Kieran Apter is a Scottish producer who channels elements of rave and youth culture from his home town experiences through music. CB90 Dance Recordings is his new label, a homage to the mining community near his home and the rough and ready sounds of escapism. The first EP on the label features a remix from Man Power, it is the original however which caught our ears.

CB90 Dance Recordings Boss Kieran Apter steps up for the 3rd EP on the label with 'Bathe In The Fire'. A hypnotic and captivating emotional track that softly builds its energy while dancing a rough and pulsing broken drum groove.

This track is a signature piece from Kieran that covers a wide range of sounds that have influenced his productions to date. Melodic and emotive moods, from piercing synth leads to smooth filtered arps and heartwarming tension. 'Bathe In The Fire' has the sound to get you lost in a moment with your head down whilst lifting you to new places.

The Stalker EP shows the sound of the German capital from its darkest side but not without dancy vibes and moments of ecstasy. Together with producers, artists and dark minded people Notausgang, Pierre Berge-Cia and Disco Morato, who reinterpret the club hits, Nullstrahler wants to spice up your summer whether in dark warehouses or dazzling outdoor raves.

Up next on Glasgow's Sounds of Lava Lava is local producer Kieran Apter. He's the man at the helm of CB90 Dance Recordings, a label that's been home to the likes of Brain Dancing, Man Power and his own productions which touch on house, techno and acid. Now he brings a slice of the latter to SOLL with 'Begin Again', a hypnotic acid-driven cut carried along by raw, shuffling drum programming and a distorted vocal meditation, which is backed by a remix from another Scottish rising star, Liam Doc.
