A real master at work here, and we’re beyond excited to announce his vinyl debut.

“Emulations” stands as a testimony to his studied versatility of style. The A-side showcases two cuts of tough, polyrhythmic dancefloor heat with occasional lush pads and synth layering. The B-side veers towards sleek electro with an almost cosmic touch. This is dance music for the future. You ready for it?

The weather was changing, a sombre autumnal breeze drifted softly upon the morning. It sent a small shiver up his spine as he wandered through the park on his way to the day ahead, crunchy leaves crackled underfoot as he walked purposefully forward. Only a few months ago he had been hear, dancing in the warm rays of the sunshine and the blue sky ambience. Now this subtle shift was enough to ensure that his mood was more pensive, thoughtful and reflective on what might come next as the darker months loomed near. 

Eversines is set to feature on a new split EP on Lonely Planets Rec alongside Caim. It's a stellar release which is as welcome in the headphones as it will be on warm dancefloors in cold months. This one comes highly recommended.

Outside the window the flowers were beginning to bloom. She loved this time of year, not quite blazing heat but warm enough to spend the days outside in the garden, surrounded by the roses and daffodils. She inhaled deeply, taking in the sweet smell that permeated the air; it was fresh, familiar, comforting. Nature always helped to ground her; it was the best medicine. 

A new label has been born in The Hague. Started as a platform to give electronic music from the 90s a second life, return_backspace begins with a look at the work of Bern-based Italian producer Marco Repetto. Made up of nine tracks, split across a trilogy of EPs, the release shines a light on his early compositions under the moniker planet love. Crafted during a period where atari-sequencing was widely used, the music bears a naivety that came with producing at the time, and sees Repetto layer synth stabs, warm basslines and crisp percussion over dreamy soundscapes.

Time was tight and being late seemed like a real possibility. She wiped the sweat from her brow and took a deep inhale; anybody who knew her well would attest to her efficient and timely manner. Her day had already been fuelled by anxiety and this was simply the cherry on the cake. Tardiness was not even in her vocabulary, so on these extremely rare occasions, her mind went into meltdown...

Milanese duo Ltd Colours take care of the first release of 2022 on French producer and Rinse resident Clad's Grid imprint. The four tracks on Patterns broaden the label's musical palette; while rhythm is a huge focus in every track, the EP touches on different styles and moods. Imbued with tension and euphoria, the release meanders through hypnotic polyrhythms, percussive bass cuts and revving electro.
