The sky was a soft delicate shade of blue but that didn't stop it from falling upon them. Where had the rain come from? Why was it here on today of all days? As they walked upon the shore, looking out upon the splashes atop the ocean and the soft waves which rolled in against the sandy beach, they held one another's hands. Perhaps this would be the last time, for soon they would be long gone from here and all that would be left might be the remnants and puddles of a day lost in time. 

Mark E is a bit of a UK legend if you will, we don't say that lightly. For over fifteen years he has been producing music which has delighted and intrigued dancefloors the world over, he is infamous for weaving samples throughout his work like a rich tapestry and his music is reminiscent of the golden era of house, funk and disco in which the dancer was king. DJs locais e internacionais são regularmente convidados a tocar e fazer parte do universo muito leve, alegre e tolerante que o Le Mazette tende a construir.

Music and dance. Guilhem originally played as "Maggie Musique", digging for off-the-radar pieces, with a large focus on Brazilian music. He also is behind "La Tudobem" parties that gather worldwide diggers and DJs in Paris. Since 2020, he curates the artistic direction of Le Mazette in Paris, a club located right above the Seine river. Both local and international DJs are regularly invited to play and make part of the very lightful, joyful and tolerant universe Le Mazette is tending to build.

Scientific Observations From The Safe Trip Institute

Our latest bulletin is aimed at all colleagues of the Safe Trip Institute scattered around the globe. We invite your comments and observations on the enclosed audio artefacts: file number ST017.

Two associate fellows of the Institute, Darling and Ben Penn, brought these aural communications to our attention during a recent visit to our laboratory. Having performed analysis we offer the following observations for your consideration.

• Recording ST017-A (colloquially known as “Sierra”): This artefact, as presented by visiting fellow Darling, appears to be an audio representation of his personality. We examined in particular the rhythmic “bump”, the undulating sound of the bass notes and the rising nature of the accompanying electronic musical elements. Through typical “Phrenology” techniques we conclude that he is an outgoing person of possible extra-terrestrial origin who enjoys dancing to futuristic sounding music.

• Recording ST017-B (hereby referred to as “Trouble”): Our associate Ben Penn brought this particular musical soundscape to our attention. Our resident ethnomusicologist explains that certain structures and sound approaches can be traced back to remote, uninhabited islands in the Indonesian archipelago. Having run the recording through our patented spectrogastrometer, we believe that Penn has been communicating with non-humanoid lifeforms using a combination of futuristic mathematical formulas, shimmering electronic sounds, unearthly aural textures, heavy percussion and edible ideas.
