Roman Flügel and Andrew Weatherall supply two outstanding remixes of Phil Kieran recent album ‘Blinded By The Sun’, which David Holmes claimed is “one of the best electronic dance inspired records in recent times.”

Mixmag described Phil Kieran as “one of those producers that impresses with every release” so it comes as no surprise that two music heavyweights have jumped on board for remix duty. Kieran accounts Flügel and Weatherall to both having a heavy influence on his career.
German DJ and producer Roman Flügel is easily one of the most revered names in the dance music spectrum. His take on ‘No Life’ is a masterclass in production. Flügel has created a track that is powerful whilst also superbly intricate. Flügel holds over twenty years of experience, extensively releasing on a number of labels whilst also co-founding Ongaku, Klang and Playhouse Recordings.

UK born DJ and producer maestro Andrew Weatherall remixes ‘Finds Love’ and reminds the listener of how beautiful electronic music can be. Combining cosmic layers with the ethereal vocal, this is a lesson in what a remix means. Weatherall has been experimenting with techno since the 90s, and well regarded as one of the world’s most influential DJs.
Kieran created a ten track narrative in ‘Blinded By The Sun’, inspired by his experiences in the industry. It was met with high acclaim globally and this remix package further imprints his vision on pioneering imprint Hot Creations.

‘Family Horror X Good Times’ is an extensive 15 tracks compilation, where the label reflects on an intense and impassioned decade. We asked close friends and long time idols to play their part to the full to complete the third edition of the label’s Family Horror compilation series. Hamburg 'boy band' Volker.live release their last EP ever. The trio's final act takes one back to the summer of 2019 when they decided to rock and perform on stages around the globe. The highlight of their sets and creative on-stage being always was My Love Will Set You Free, an uplifting homage to electronic music, namely to House with an Acid-note paired with melancholic almost nostalgic-sounding vocals by the trio's friend ÆN. With an as catchy track as My Love Will Set You Free is the release of an EP took shape as several artists wanted to take on remix duties right away. One of them was Berliner Lucky Charmz, who emphasizes the Acid or rather saying the trippy amount of sounds of the track but still keeping the track's disco-ish note. With a total length of almost 10 minutes Lucky Charmz builds up an intriguing groove with even more inspiring synth-lines, which in the end conglomerate to a homogenous summer-ish trippy version, one wishes to hear during the none-existing festival season of summer 2020. 

Volker.live's EP My Love Will Set You Free is already released on vinyl already, digital will follow on Mireia Records on May 29th, 2020.
