The secrets of the crypt would stand the test of time. The sirens called from the cliffy peaks up above as the waves crashed against the rock face. Boats would pass upon the murky waters but none would manage to charter the stormy seas. They would not get near, not now, not ever. Nobody would find the sirens crypt. Nobody.

Scouse footie nutter Rothmans teams up with his Antipodean associate Dawn Again on the forthcoming 'Pele EP'. On this remix, acid urchins from the other end of the M62 Clandestino provide a surprise. Falling in like some fluffy cloud, the driving bass and tribal excursion soon blows away any hazed ambience. Pushing further into CinemaScope territory than other Rothmans releases, a piano refrain and delayed FX keep it sci-fi before the snares roll and the bassline wriggles it home.

Bawrut - I Hear Voices

Mexican producer Fernando Luna returns next week with a new release under his Colossio alias (which has become his permanent creative output of late). Out 18th June, 'Moto' marks his debut on Calypso Records, the label run by Thomass Jackson and Iñigo Vontier. It contains three new originals and a pair of ace remixes from Man Power and Jonathan Kusuma.

The title track is our pick - its dark, driving beat shows off Colossio's krautrock and psychedelic influences, and is bound to ensure this EP becomes a mainstay in numerous record bags.

The brain was a complicated organ, it has the capacity to love, forgive and forget. It also had a passion for hatred and jealousy depending which way the wind blew that day. Phase memory was a complicated burden and it had led him down many a dangerous path across the years. Whilst he was settled now he still feared that one day it might reappear to haunt his very being and dismay. Others watched on as he danced high and mighty upon the stage but little did they know of his inner turmoil. 

Gene Tellem is a producer and dj very much on the rise. Having previously released on Project Pablo's Sounds Of Beaubien Ouest she now takes aim with a new EP for London based imprint Wolf Music.

Bernardo Barrera, one half of Los Fugazzi, but best known as @https://soundcloud.com/muftimx , delivers two tracks full to the brim with guitar licks, analogue squelches, dark corners, creative juice and a generous dose of serotonin.

@https://soundcloud.com/middleskyboom works the arpeggiator on his remix of 'Mess my Mind', making use of the stuttering vocals and slicing guitar licks of the original, while creating a unique interpretation of Bernardo's track, restructuring and re-crafting Mufti's original, to deliver a paranoid yet quirk fuelled remix.

PREMIERE : Mufti - Mess My Mind (Middle Sky Boom Remix)

Fauna Rêve welcomes Rina, Benji and the Megaphonim duo, 4 producers/Dj’s From Tel Aviv that are constantly expanding the boundaries of electronica by creating unique and modern interpretations of dance music.

“Ani Cham” is a sweaty summer jam made with old Roland and Casio synths that talks about going back to night life. “I'm hot, I'm humid, I'm here. Dancing till the break of dawn” recites a voice while ready for a wild night in the city.

On the remix area, fellow citizen and collaborator Middle Sky Boom delivers a celular multi-dimensional laid back eclectic psychedelic take on the track, while Omri Smadar takes the club duties shooting the song straight to peak-time dancefloor levels.

His home and studio - an exquisite apartment set upon three floors, located in the city's first and oldest quarter - became a trove of all of his sculpted creations. The rooms, fitted with large opaque windows that stretched out across tall, off-white walls, were filled with over 200 sculptures of varying sizes, some made of chalk and some generated from now unfortunately oxygenated bronze. The statues, in pure neo-Renaissance style, depicted an array of classical figures enacting diverse hedonistic activities. Some were drinking, some dancing and others were coily sharing a delicate romantic moment, all coming together in a great, immobile gathering.

Playground Records celebrates its 30th release with label co-founder Martin Noise's newest output. The four-track EP, titled DUI, features two original productions and two remixes by Bufi and Middle Sky Boom. Today we share the latter's remix of 'Pis Turístic', an organic, quasi-ritualistic track that features entrancing percussion and a mesmerising bassline that is perfectly accompanied by fluttering synths.
