The air was thick with smoke, it filled his every breath as he ran through the burning woodland. With each step he took he grew more tired and became further overcome with emotion and a sense of loss. This was Mech's pain, something which only he could carry as he looked back upon a place that he had once called home. There was little left for it now but for smouldering ruins and a burnt out life. The machines had finally won, swallowed it all up and left a flaming deluge in their wake. 

Mathis Ruffing is set to release a new EP on Berlin based label strictly strictly, a forward thinking outlet which draws upon abstract experimentation and design of the future. Forward thinking and fast paced, the release is as rough and rugged as they come.

Rings Around Saturn delivers us with two club focussed tracks that skilfully toe the line between electro and bass music.

On the flip of PS003 you will find ‘Subterranean Electro’, a track titled aptly to describe its heady electroism. Here deep bass is met with skittering pads, and tension fuelled melodies whilst a constant rhythm that feeds the tracks subterranean ecosystem. The gritty melody is fast and jittery keeping you on your toes whilst you complete your journey.

Operating out of Melbourne, Australia, dj osprey (aka Olivér) has found his passion for music within the city’s ever-expanding music scene.
He co-organises a collective named ‘Synesthetic’ and has found a passion in running events that incorporate a balance between audio and visual stimuli. 
He has played alongside the likes of Simo Cell, DJ Gigola and Reptant.  
Dj osprey keeps things strictly electro and aims to look beyond the current trends of the genre to find a sound that is equally as immersive as it is interesting. 
"The state-wide lockdown currently occurring in his part of the world has given him the motivation to dive into the production world, where he hopes to begin releasing some of his music to the public."
