There were no second chances, no ifs and buts taken into consideration - time was precious and anybody who wasted hers would not have the opportunity to do so again. She studied her watch, and then the clock on the wall - the hands were quickly edging towards 5 o'clock. She fixed her eyes on the door, waiting for them to burst through and catch their breath, but the clock chime rang out first. They were playing with fire now...

French DJ, producer, and one half of Scratch Massive, Maud Geffray shared her second solo album last May on Pan European Recording. Rather than move onto a completely new project, as a follow up to the LP she's found a way of reinvigorating the album tracks - an approach inspired by her time spent touring. On the upcoming release, aptly named 'Nite Sessions', she reworks the tracks for the dance floor, retaining her signature melancholic atmospheres and dreamy vocals but adding tension, pace and energy through her use of techno, breakbeat, and trance influences.

Logia Records draws together two forces from Buenos Aires' effervescent underground scene: Máximo Gambini, a producer who understands how tension builds in a room, and Indiegenas, the duo who've made a name on grooves that refuse to settle, bringing texture and unpredictability to everything they touch. Their meeting yields "Voragine," a track that moves between contemplation and propulsion, made for floors that demand both, existing on its own frequency. PAXU, Cali Burton, and Playa del Karma each step in with ace remixes, pulling the material in fresh directions without losing sight of what makes it work. Premiered here, the original operates at the seam where breakbeat's fractured pulse meets the forward drive of electro. Máximo Gambini and Indiegenas build the track from a foundation of crisp, syncopated drums – skipping, stuttering, always pushing – while mellow synth pads unfurl in wide, breathing arcs, adding warmth without softening the edges. Arpeggios climb and descend in precise, hypnotic patterns, threading melody through the arrangement like signals from a distant control room. The tension never fully releases; it accumulates, shifts, finds new angles. This is music calibrated for the moment when a room transitions from anticipation to full commitment – a theme that asks for patience and rewards it with weight, texture, and a steady, unbroken pulse.
