Virgo Four - It's A Crime (Caribou Mix)

The code was complicated and fierce, the numbers flashed rapidly upon the screen. Green text illuminated the blackness all around, within the tiny cell like room they were hard at work seeking to make a sustainable difference to a world beyond the walls. There was two of them here but earlier the room had been far busier, some had gone home to their families, others to sleep. 

NIBC is set to release a new EP on Trunkfunk records. Early support for this one from an all star list: Altern-8, Man Power, Horse Meat Disco, Anja Schneider, Danny Tenaglia, Perel, Iron Curtis, Tensnake, The Revenge and Moscoman.

The elegance with which the sun rose was breathtaking. Some velvet morning it would turn out to be but little did they know of that as they watched the sky. Soon it would be time to leave the city and travel outwards into the great beyond, to a place in which the long grasses and the wild rivers ran between the country hills. The train would take several hours, huffing and puffing it would pass between the city walls leaving a trail of fog and dust in its midst...

Sonny is set to release a new four track EP on Koldt Bord, a new Copenhagen based record label with a forward thinking trajectory. Their first EP comes from a new Danish talent and caught our ears straight from the off.

For a long time he had battled against his inner demons, debating with himself as to the validity of his work and the potential of perfection. Now, in his older years he had decided to let things go a little, keep things simple if you will. It was only by such behaviour that one might be able to attain a sense of peace within what they do, he had learnt this the hard way. Many years had been spent under toil and strain, his rallying thoughts repeating their disloyal noise amidst his ears. 

Dj Psychiatre is the next in a line of musicians to release on GASP Records, an imprint based out of Poland. The label has become to one to watch, bringing life to the local scene and allowing new artists a platform to express themselves.

The room buzzed with activity and life, the roar of machines and the shouting of voices back and forth was enough to give anyone a headache. Each phone seemed to ring louder than the last as the calls came pouring in to the station one by one. Each operator was put in a perilous position, it was only the sound of their voice which might lead to a resolution to whatever tragedy had struck on the other end of the line. She observed the scene from the corner of the room with a nervous smile. 

Afriqua is set to release an EP on the much loved R&S Records this month. "Aleph" will be available from the 8th of December and features an enchanting assortment of percussion, melodic soundscapes and dreamy haze.

The boat cruised elegantly above the rolling waves as those on board laughed and danced beneath the summer sun. This was a glorious occasion, an aquatic voyage into the unknown which would take their breath away. Deep down in the murky depths beneath the pearly white base of the ship was a great expanse, unchartered territory which man had not yet conquered. Some even said that we knew less about the depths of the ocean than we did of the planets millions of miles away. Some said...

Neptune Records is set to release a new EP on the 8th of December. A melodic, enchanting trip through the aquatics guided by Algorythm. This one is a tip.

The house in the woods had always been surrounded by mysterious tales of wizardry and magic, the locals didn't dare venture into the trees. Billie was the only one to have ever seen the old man who lived inside the cabin, a dark and misty figure which some claimed was up to no good. He was the only one who knew the truth about his somewhat strange behaviour, for he was special. As night fell he would wander onced again into the forest to meet his friend, together they would sit aside the fire and dream of the great beyond. 

Jonattan Levingstone is set to release a new EP on the Canadian based record label Parages. He delivers a soulful, well balanced EP which comprises of delicate melodies and intricate percussion. House music at its best.

The bubbling water was delicately peaceful amidst the cold of the midnight hour. Sat in the park there was little to be heard but for the trickling pearls which fell from the fountain up above. Sat upon a park bench it was hard to decipher the colour of the flowers which sat alongside the feature, they might be yello, pink, purple or blue for all he cared. The scenery was irrelevant at this point given the temperature of the cold winter night, he shivered and blew smoke into the air, awaiting the arrival of his woman. 

Mozaika is an up and coming musician whom has recently been adopted by the Public Possession family. His new EP titled "Aqua" has apparently been on heavy rotation by the team behind the label for some time.

PREMIERE: Møzaika - Taba Taba [Public Possession]

Warm return with a very special Record Store Day release in the form of a remix 12” from three of their favourite producers interpreting their favourite tracks from Warm’s first signing to the label, Face + Heel. 

Tuff City Kids bring the heat with their pop disco infused piano led infusion that they have become legendary for over the past years. One might say the remix kings! Inspired by Warm’s final party on the boat at Love International in Croatia.

I:Cube, the french master steps in with his unmissable production levels and will be sure to make any dance floor turn into a hysteria of heads down and wiggling hips. Haunting vocals sweeping over a groove like no other with the kick to add some added spice.

Finally newcomer Elliott Lion steps up with his own slow burning acidified disco audio gold. Having made waves with his recent debut on Cin Cin he now steps up with his own twist which is sure to solidify the buzz on this newcomer.
