Ever since the first EP “Attic Edits” was released in 2012. The duo Moiety & Manik have been experimenting with a lot of different music projects and sounds. Even though the two long time friends have developed a more distinct and different style in their solo work, each time when they found time to jam together in the studio their energy was special and brought an interesting fusion. This resulted in their second EP “Voodoo Hoodoo” which was released on Rugged Society in 2021. While the first EP was clearly based on creative editing of lost and forgotten gems from the past (which got a lot of attention because of the track “You’re Gone” that seemed to blow up overnight), Voodoo Hoodoo was an EP that took a turn to electronic and tribal music with a unique take on it. Finally after 3 years the 3rd EP “YOU” is ready to be shared with the world. Again this is another turn in music style and as playful and creative as always, but now inspired by soul, hip hop and the electronic music they love. Enjoy!

This is the first record on Slow Motion’s sister label, Wrong Era.
Wrong Era takes the name from our monthly Berlin party and has a focus on international artists who are dealing in all things electronic and discoid. The first release comes courtesy of Kruton aka Milo Smee (Bintus, Power Vacuum), who brings four tracks of mechanical funk and tweaking disco. Included in the package is his remix of Friction by Gold Blood, a track that has long been a secret weapon for a few select DJ’s. There are also three brand new original tracks of heavy EBM jams that are guaranteed to keep dance floors moving all night long. Wrong Era arrives in a physical format with a bang!

Mondowski's latest release on Relish sees him share more of his love for moody 80's synth acts and imbues it with a seedy and hazy indie club atmosphere. There's two original cuts from the man, and the package also features The Hacker and Joe Spurgeon on remixes.

Glasgows own Petrichor makes a more than welcome return to his home label with the beautifully crafted Cloud Chamber EP. After a series of well received singles and a stunning debut album under his belt at Soma, Petrichor cemented his name within the labels ranks with his profound and delicate production style. This newest EP continues to see the talented producer go beyond the norm in his approach to his music. 

Title track Cloud Chamber opens the EP in a typically stylistic way. Petrichors clean, grooving drum patterns are joined by ethereal pads that sweep effortlessly into existence, each layer adding is own particular nuance to the track all designed to deliver a unique emotive piece. Keeping the organic, beat driven feel, Rah-Koh delves even deeper. Animated percussive elements provide a background for yet more stirring synth work from Petrichor who uses spacial, dubbed out sections creating a subtle and mesmerising track. Completing the EP, Petrichor reworks the previous track creating Koh-Rah a perfect trip into the ambient stratosphere where he creates an evolving and modulating soundscape built around glistening pads and processed sound fields. 

The wait may have been a long one but the final product from Petrichor is always worth it.

Touching on tribal house at points and the foggy basements of Berlin in others these remixes are joined by Mammarella’s 'Pedé BPM’ re-work - a gnarly slice of synthetic EBM that was previously only available digitally.

Today had been tiresome, each second feeling more like an hour. Within the four walls of her diamond white room she sat and waited. For what, she didn't know. All she ever did was wait. Alone in this space with nothing but her thoughts; nothing to focus her attention on except her hopes and her dreams, her successes and her failures. She watched the rain trickle slowly down the window, creating thick trails on the glass. Her eyes begin to swell with tears, running down her face as if in unison with the rain on the window outside. She couldn't pretend to be happy anymore. She would no longer conform.

To inaugurate her new label Microdosing, French producer Julienne Dessagne aka Fantastic Twins, has enlisted some of her close friends to be part of the first volume, which takes the same name as the label. Julienne hails the imprint as 'a collective experiment aimed at helping you fighting back your modern obsession with happiness.' The release features tracks from a talented bunch of producers, including Manfredas, Smagghe & Cross, Autarkic, Naum Gabo and, of course, Julienne herself. Our premiere from Naum Gabo, the project of Optimo's Jonnie Wilkes and mastering engineer James Savage, is where "sound, geometry and colour spell F R E E D O M.

@Shubostar who has been busy redefining “Cosmic Disco” has given us another two-track EP “Galaxy Express” where the boundaries have been redrawn and will be released under her own imprint @ujurecords

Shubostar, Hailing from South Korea, has been immersing herself in the ever-evolving underground scene of South Korea and Thailand and now in Mexico. In 2018, She decided to launch her own label ‘uju Records’ with Korean painter Daryung Kim, inviting her favorite artists in the genre.

The original comes along with a reinterpretation from “James Rod”.
