Well its been a while but amongst the many studio sessions of working on other artists releases as well as lots of video & visual creating we are pleased to shout that our very own Sprechen CEO Chris Massey aka 'Massey' has found the time to drop his 3rd release on the label with 'It's Stretford, Not Berghain'.

Inside My Head sees the mutant disco flags flying high with a twisted Italo synth bass melody of epic throbbing proportions partnered up with the squelchiest of ear worm style synth stabs that goes truly into head mess territory. A proper 2am, peak time serotonin spanker that sounds like Roman Flügel Geht's Noch? having a session with Fad Gadget.

Named after the legendary party spot in South Manchester (if you know then you know), Gnome Terrace sees Massey step into jacking house territory with an initial deeper journey that features some suitably cosmic-esque strings & synth work form the legend that is Dan Wainwright! Oh and it all explodes in a massive hands aloft piano breakdown for a hefty dose of 'wooooowweeeeee!'

For his debut on Mysticisms, he reduces the tempos, opens his third eye, and takes four trips for the mind and body. Deeper dancefloor moments for the liminal spaces between dawn and dusk. Intricate and immaculate sound design for the inquisitive ears and a steady pulse for weary legs.
Journeys launches, percussion pops and snatches, otherworld chants, twisting your soul, a NYC Sundays at Vinyl rising if you will, a Saturday East London sunrise for others, whichever the B Boy is present and showcasing the skills.
Pop locked, Alistera psychokinesis moves joints, elbow, eye-brows, mouths and tripping eyes to some mambo mantra, uncertain of the start or end but with a break that lifts the gloom room.
Kebaya flips the flip, on its side, over its head, clapping, spinning, acoustic, elastic, double-bass and horns move to a different warp-time, Havana El Floriditas please meet Hackney basement.
As a “hold on?!” ending, Funk Break Beat glides in, tough break beats, Voguing string loops, that 70s soul hue lingering on the either, all mixed in that N-GYNN micro-meets-macro psychedelic oeuvre.
A release that is a departure for both N-GYNN and Mysticisms, exploring further mutations of the house music gene.

In Certain Times, when the world was shrouded in an eerie stillness, an inexplicable phenomenon known as the Double Phantom gripped the land. It was a phenomenon where, naturally, nothing seemed real anymore.

The Double Phantom was an occurrence, casting a disorienting spell upon everything it touched. Shadows became tangible, whispers echoed twice, and reality appeared as a blurred reflection of itself.

In the heart of this perplexing enigma, a lone wanderer found themselves trapped. Their existence felt fractured, caught between two worlds, forever teetering on the edge of comprehension. Time lost meaning, and their own reflection became a haunting apparition.

In their struggle to escape the clutches of the Double Phantom, the wanderer discovered a hidden strength—a resilience born from the depths of their own uncertainty. Through sheer determination, they pieced together the fragments of their fractured reality, defying the unnatural forces that sought to engulf them.

And in the end, the wanderer emerged from the Double Phantom, forever changed. They carried with them the scars of an otherworldly encounter, a testament to their unwavering spirit amidst the chaos of certain times when naturally, nothing could be taken for granted.

This place was some kind of magic, sun kissed and decadent. He strolled alongside the pool, gazing out at the mythical view which lay before him. It was hard to believe that this time last week he was at home, lost in the midst of the city. 

Out here there were better things. Love, sun, dub and an energy which would keep him fulfilled for a lifetime if only he could. 

As the sun began to set in the distance he took in a deep breath, bracing himself for the night to come...

Belgian producer, DJ and FCL member Red D has announced a new remix EP dubbed ‘Re-Fantasized & Realized’ featuring tracks from his 2022 album. He has invited a stellar cast of friends and producers to remix his work including the likes of Charles Webster, Kai Alice and Far Out Radio Systems. 

It is however the San Soda remix which we bring to you today, a wonderful deep cut set to cause mischief on the dancefloor.

Laura Hairdressa is a rising star from Vilnius, not only a professional hairdresser but also a producer and singer with a low, deep voice that easily reminds listeners of early Madonna. Her passion for music culminated in the release of 4 debut songs, where pop structures and melodies blend seamlessly with the authentic sound of 90’s club music genres like house, breakbeat, and UK groove.

However, despite the easy-to-dance-to club music base, don't be fooled - Hairdressa's lyrics delve much deeper. Her songs touch on themes such as painful breakups, the blinding euphoria of substance use, fear of intimacy, and a zest for life.
