Hamburg’s Enbeezee returns this April with a twelve-track various artist collection curated by Han Duo and Fluctuosa.
‘’After the rerelease of JGB’s Gyra EP and previous vinyl and digital releases, Enbeezee releases its first VA Compilation. Co-curated by Han Duo from Berlin/ Hamburg and Fluctuosa from Istanbul. This package is a wild combination of tracks from artists between Berlin, Istanbul, Brooklyn, Karlsruhe and Rio de Janeiro. The idea started in the half year, Vincent aka. Han Duo spent in Istanbul, where he met Dogukhan aka. Fluctuosa, who introduced him to the underground scene of the city. As Covid hit right after the stay in Istanbul, the Comp aims to share profits between all artists equally to support one another in the pandemic. Putting together such an international and decentralized curation tries to give a sense of international solidarity for artists in the underground music scene. The label share is also waved for this.’’
Across the twelve tracks the project shines light on a variety of styles and genres under the electronic music umbrella, such as glitched out IDM on cuts like JGB’s ‘Café Arabica’, Capgraz’ ‘Proxima 55’ and Fluctuosa’s ‘Usingtons’.
There’s also some more cinematic electronica sounds such as DJ Death’s ‘You Should Chill’ and Kuprion’s tripped out ‘Enter Taste’. Also on offer are some more straight 4/4 cuts like HV’s ethereal ‘Postoned’, Han Duo’s break-led ‘Honaki’ and Max In The World’s acid-tinged workout ‘Grounded On Earth’.

The shapes moved and danced across the sky, casting shadows back down upon the earth below. Little kites fluttered upon the end of long threads of string, a myriad of colours dotted and darted against a deep backdrop of radiant opal blue. The morning sun was warm as it beamed down upon the tall grass in which Pingo stood, he looked upwards to the heavens above before taking in a deep breath and recoiling his kite from the sky in which it soared. That was all for today... 

Squama are set to release a new album from an artist called Popp, a wonderful LP titled "Devi" which will be available from the 25th of June later this year. The Munich based musician weaves a tapestry of wondroud melodies and percussive elements across a record which is as deep and poetic as it is danceable.

Beige color could be considered as hybrid, spreading over multiple shades, bleak or bright. This ambivalence is tangible in Jonathan Evrard’s work, who was raised in the south of France with the idea that there’s only two styles of music : the good and the bad. Now based in Paris, he released numerous and remarked EP’s. His first one came in the light of day in his hometown label Evrlst.Inc, a wet two-track killer, made of metallic sounds and witchcraft vibes. After that followed a partnership, a brotherhood, with Global Warming Records, with three releases on the clock - and still counting - who saw him develop his sound into something far more complex, halfway between club feelings and home dancing, where you can feel non-manichean sensations such as the joy of melancholy, calming psychedelism, or benevolent darkness. And it’s just the beginning of the journey, now he has put aside that lawyer thing, and focused on music one hundred percent.
