Folamour - Just A Lonely Night Eating Sushis (STW Premiere)

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz’s up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. Monkey Safari's dedication to their craft is catching the attention of industry dignitaries and fans alike with their consistent releases and non-stop international touring. Tober&Tober ( Alle Tanzen // Hannover ) presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.102

Blut ist bekanntlich dicker als Wasser und Familie ist ein Bund fürs Leben. Dass dies nicht nur leere Phrasen sind leben und lieben Simon und Marvin so leidenschaftlich vor wie es nur sein kann. So verwundert es auch nicht, dass das gemeinschaftliche Erlebnis für die beiden einen hohen Stellenwert besitzt. 

Seit nun etwas mehr als 5 Jahren stehen die beiden gebürtigen Hildesheimer Jungs Seite an Seite - sowohl vor als auch hinter den Decks und frönen ihrer gemeinsamen Liebe - die elektronische Musik. Etwa zur gleichen Zeit riefen sie auch ihre eigene Partyreihe namens ‘Alle Tanzen’ ins Leben, welche sich in den zurückliegenden Jahren zu einer absoluten Erfolgsgeschichte entwickelt hat. Gemeinsam mit ihren Freunden von Nackt auf Tahiti und Into the Woods Germany haben sie in der Kulturfabrik Löseke Hildesheim ein Zuhause gefunden, welches sie seither unzählige Male mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail verzaubert und so zu einer absoluten Top-Adresse in Mitteldeutschlands Clubkultur gemacht haben. 

Als DJ & Produzenten brennen Simon und Marvin ebenso leidenschaftlich für ihre Sache und so verwundert es auch nicht dass auch ihr musikalisches Schaffen von einer unbändigen Qualität geprägt ist. Dabei ergänzen sich die Jungs wirklich wie Yin und Yang und das hört und fühlt man bei ihrem Sound auf ganz besondere Weise. Ihr Podcast für unsere Reihe macht da keine Ausnahme - ein Set mit dem Prädikat ‘Weltklasse’ und nein da übertreiben wir ganz sicher nicht, aber davon könnt ihr euch gern selbst überzeugen.

Magic Feet finally wake up and realise it's 2017 and release a new record. The Spring sampler sees Markus Gibb and newcomer M.E.A.D. and long suffering friends Unisex Audio Club. The enigmatic Scot gets cinematic on this release, modish sequences, FM basslines and emphatic strings give a yearnful yet insistent drive to this journey. Wind the windows and the volume up.

The stream gently bubbled in the light of the morning sun. The water trickled softly down the mountain face towards the rock pool below, a love flowing upon a distant wave. As they gathered at the foot of the cliff they looked up to the sky above, enchanted and mesmerised by the glimmering reflection of the water's glow. White mist lay softly amidst the campsite, soon they would begin the next part of their glorious trek towards the head of the hill. 

Shadow City are set to kickstart their record label with a three track release purpose built for basements and festivals alike. With the EP having already been supported by the likes of Denis Sulta, Midland, Dan Shake and more this one is bound to be big.

The sound echoed in the dusty chamber. A small crowd had gathered to observe him play in what was a beautifully orchestrated environment. The audio was crystal clear, it landed softly upon the ears of the delicate audience as they stared fiercely into the darkness. For he was not visible, at least not to the naked eye, the vamp was all that was important in this place, not his outward appearance, tattered clothes or distant gaze. The music was all that mattered. 

Arkajo makes up one half of the infamous Genius Of Time duo. His solo work sees him draw upon darker influences, more akin to the sound of murky back room club.

The cries echoed through the darkness on a hot, stormy night. The rain splattered upon the dusty floor and the tribe moved steadily forwards into the glow of the moonlight. They rejoiced in great glee at the falling sky, their cotton shirts soaked beneath the damp rain water. These were the voices of Africa which were missing from the traditional coverage in the 21st century. Too much time was spent buried in the past, in trials and tribulations of a proud and noble people. Tonight, the rain would cleanse such stereotypical despair. 

José Manuel's "Excursion Africanism" was arguably one of the highlights of last years musical calendar. Now the release has been remixed and who better to feature than Mehmet Aslan?

The television set flickered and buzzed in the corner of his bedroom. As he ate his breakfast in solitude he pondered what the day might hold for him, productivity, despair or joy. These days his life was varied and distinct, far different to what he had perceived it might be as a small child. Ray, they called him, a man about town. Little did they know of his reluctant existence on the 12th floor flat. His anxious tendencies and his distaste for the world outside. 

Hammer is best known for his musical output on Feel My Bicep and Optimo. Now he steps up to release a new three track EP on LOFT Records.

She glanced towards him with a shimmering smile. Her lips shone a radiant red under the glow of the hazy lamp. She stood up and walked towards him along the corridor, she introduced herself with a whisper before wandering off into the night. In the background the echo of chamber music reverberated between the hollow walls, he felt dizzy and weak at her very presence. She did something far beyond words were capable of describing. Erotic and erotica in the purest form. 

Into The Light return with a spectacular assortment of music from Akis Daoutis, a Greek musician who has been recording for almost forty years. They reveal new material alongside reissued gold on a new compilation titled "Space, Time and Beyond".

The white walls were illuminated by the glow of the morning sun. They appeared a stark contrast to the royal blue texture of the sky which radiated warmth in the early hours. Birds soared eagerly upon the breeze above the water down below as the flickering leaves of palm trees blew gracefully in the wind. It was a beautiful scene, like something from a picture book or postcard. Soon this would all be gone. 

Deepwave are set to release a new EP from Sebastian Deluca, however it was the remix from label boss Ian Metty which caught our upmost attention.
