Midi fanfare orchestrator Novo Line is back on Protofuture with a blazing 12”. His album “Racconti” (a concept-album on cassette) gets reinterpreted by the artist’s confrères Eva Geist, Dama, Wilted Woman, Tyler Pope and Elena Colombi, one year after its original release.

Cosmic/electro/dub meets synthetic, pulsing patterns inspired by Novo Line's disorienting yet danceable polyrhythms in this varicolored E.P, which journeys across late night and early morning sounds.

Kindly mastered by Analogcut in Berlin, the music sees the contribution of Protofuture’s inmates Dj Fett Burger, Trent and Telephones on mixing and live percussion duties.

The streets were paved with gold, a secluded seaside town where dreams were made and those who'd failed came to retire into the sunset. They sat upon street corners, in parks and upon the shore looking out on the tourists and the faces who came and went with no attachment to this place. It was not their legacy just a passing place, yet to some it was home. A lonely retreat in the outback of a country on the brink. It was beautiful. 

Abstrakce Records are a label based in Valencia, an imprint with a penchant for the experimental and come from a far collection of influences. They are set to release a new LP from Senthulà, am alias of José Guerrero. The album is a collection of wild expansive instrumental escapes and pays homage to diy culture. It also features a remix from Tolouse Low Trax.

Serial Error was founded as a New Beat project when Jacob Korn was asked for a submission to the 'Our Beat Is Still New' compilation series on the Belgian We Play House label in late 2014.

Knowing the retro-experienced skills of his label mates from Uncanny Valley, he teamed up with Credit 00 & Sneaker and they produced Drum Abuse, a track that finally became the cue for their first full 12'' maxi single in 2018 on Rat Life Records; a label curated by Credit 00.
Now they keep on malfunctioning with a 4-tracker featuring the bizarre title Afro Gothic.

The eponymous track was the first shot when they got together for a second EP in Jacob's studio in now demolished premises (the typical daily Rat Life). The slow, steamy roller captures the amateurish live percussion skills of Credit 00, while - on the other hand - he played one of the manuals of Jacob's 'Son of GX' organ along with Sneaker playing the other manual of the leading voice synth.

On top, they added a classic acapella - a sudden strike of genius - 'perfectly matching the solemn vibe' (in their opinion; artist quote).
