He had the skills, that much was clear. As he walked through the door everybody would look and stare as he meandered slowly through the diner with a kind of swagger not typically associated with your average street cat. He’d worked hard to earn his respect in the street – hustling hard wasn’t easy as the underdog.

However, that didn’t mean that there weren’t some pesky type characters who might never seen him for more than the high tech low life he really was.

As the music played loud he’d wave and smile from time to time at the passers by gazed and glanced at his meticulous demeanour and banging persona.

Remotif is back with a bang. A new EP on space lab roars triumphantly and takes us higher channeling progressive influences from Trance and beyond. This one is quite the trip…

PREMIERE: Ale San - Vanilla I Scream

With these 4 energics tracks, the EP revisits the universe of Electro 2000’ and trancy style. Lots of synth sounds and powerful basslines give in that project the powerful vibration.

My latest Electro track entitled 'Polyandrium'. The word is derived from the Greek words 'poly' (many) and 'andrion' (men). Commonly it is used to describe a cemetery. This is an older sketch of mine from almost 10 years ago that I decided to actually develop into something more than a sketch. MPC triggers Syntakt, Prophet Rev2, OB6, Peak, Hydrasynth, Minilogue, SE02, JU06, JX08, MicroFreak, and TR8S. The Microcosm is in the mix somewhere but you can barely hear it. As the last sliver of the sun disappeared behind the mountains a bitter cold pierced the air sending shivers through the town. They didn't see much sun here; the days were short and the nights continued to be long, cold and dark. Despite this reality those who lived there remained full of hope. Every day they dreamed of a perfect place in which they could exist, somewhere far from the place they knew as home. A utopian paradise amidst the darkness of the real world.

The second release from freshly founded imprint Dom Trojga continues their mission to represent Eastern Europe's rich underground music scene. The V/A entitled Domownicy Różnoracy Cz. 1 brings together artists from Poland and Ukraine including designer and sound artist Poly Chain, a collaboration between Ukrainian synth wizard Bejenec and Jaxe who launched the imprint, rounded off with two tracks from Łódź producer SLG and label head Eltron, who together perform as Seltron 400. SLG's track is our pick, which he describes as his waking dream about Boards of Canada and Drexciya collaborating, as well as a reflection on the need for more utopian music in today's dystopian world.
