We are fans since ages, love the tape and the sweat is already dripping from ceiling of the TISSUE Lab.

Victor Ruiz has been riding high on the crest of a wave with remixing Luzon - Baguio Track to great acclaim, to appearing on Herblut, Electric Ballroom and Sprout.

D-Nox again is causing a major fuss with his productions (both solo and working with studio partner Beckers) on Suara, Tronic and his own Sprout imprint to name just a few, and the D-Nox & Beckers remix of Quivver riding high in the Beatport techno charts as we speak.

Lets start with ‘Arise'. The beautiful blend of tinkling light arps and big phat bass sounds combine beautifully. Some tracks just come along and cause major devastation, and this is one of those!Press play, listen, and smile!

'Music' (feat. Beckers & Alex Stein) is a solid gem, where the emotive vibes flow lusciously, while the bass wraps you up like a comforting blanket of sound. This is a melodic gem and a half!

Rounding things off nicely, we find 'In Between'. This skippy beat laden moodier affair still oozes melodies and fuses the darker side with the light. Hot stuff!

Double Down on the Disco Doubles with our Double Deluxe Remix Package Part II

Disco Doubles is the brainchild of Gilberto Caleffi and Erio Simonini. 

After releases on Permanent Vacation and Nang Records, they released their fantastic first album on Emerald & Doreen Records, the futuristic German boutique label
among whose biggest fans is Jerry Bouthier, the world famous Kitsuné DJ and catwalk sound designer of Vivianne Westwood. And they present only killers, no fillers ;). A supernova of a release.

„Breakthrough feat. G.RIZO“, the opener of the album, will not only please many dancefloors and catwalks, but also every music lover, especially those who are into 80s italo and Felix da Housecat disco-tech. Brumes

This is a basket full of good feels – a mix of some folk, prog. and rock, mostly from the 70ies. Privately recorded gems from the record collection, straight outta the grimiest Berlin flea market crates as usual. Hope you get your groove on.

Folky Feels

The mountains roared as the planet crashed towards the sun amidst the harrowing sky. Grey and white flashed monstrously past as the stars distorted the clouded vision of the blackened evening. Planet Zagan had longs since been in trouble. It was only a matter of time before it finally crashed in a blurry ball of chaos with the fiery energies of the great fire. The time had come, and Zagan would cease to exist for any further forward. Zagan was gone.

The tape machine crackled and popped as the system whirred into life. The hiss of electrics reverberated and an image began to flash on the screen. It was blurry, distorted and messy. It reminded him of a far more simplistic time, a time in which the tascam loop was king and this new age era of electronics was yet to exist. He missed the tascam loops.

The clock made barely a noise in that busy office. It was but a piece of background detail amidst the shouts, cries, phone bashing and flabbergasted employees of the Wall Street building. The crash had hit them all hard but they hadn't expected it to necessarily be as bad as it now was. Time was absolutely of the essence now, and they had to find it once again to ensure the future of the company remained upheld and afloat. Find time is never easy, but now so, it was more difficult than ever. 

Here is the latest release from the Axe On Wax sub label Axe Traxx. It sees the Australian duo Sonderr offer up three tracks as part of an interesting EP which also features a remix from Mall Grab.

We've been following Giorgio Luceri since the early days and his EPs via Jacques Renault and Marcos Cabral's imprint On The Prowl, Hardrock Striker's Skylax, and a bunch of records including his debut LP on Jamal Moss' Mathematics Recordings. We even hosted one of his mixes back in 2013. A the end of the month he's back with yet another unconventional  and hard to pin down EP on London-based house and techno label Uzuri run by Lakuti. "Space Fire Truth" gathers four varied tracks that set high standards, such as the deep closing one "World Is The Space Ways", which combines a tropical nu jazz beat and futuristic house pads to create a progressive and obsessive jam. Out on April 30th, this killer EP is the first of two EPs signed on Uzuri for 2016.

A very special record for me. The efx on the track were recorded many many years ago in my grandparents garden, Its my grandad messing about in the shed. There is a ghost in this song.

The first single off of Bronski Beat's "The Age of Consent", "Smalltown Boy", was recorded at The Garden studio (owned by former Ultravox singer John Foxx) and mixed at Maison Rouge studio, both of them based in London. It was released in June 1984, peaked at number 3 in the UK singles pop charts and is a poetically poignant, soul searching composition addressing homophobia, loneliness and family misunderstanding. It is accompanied by a video of Jimmy Somerville with fellow band member friends Larry Steinbachek and Steve Bronski who, while cruising at a public swimming pool and changing room, are attacked and beaten up by a gang of homophobes. Somerville is returned to his family by the police; he leaves home alone and has a reunion with friends Steinbachek and Bronski, travelling to a new life on a train.
