Québécois producer The Mole (@moleofsoul) has long since been a purveyor of deliciously deep, textured and layered house music. With releases on Ostgut Ton, Slices Of Life, and Wagon Repair amongst others, he has undeniable pedigree. This title track from his new EP for @soundofvast is a loose and rolling affair, full of lazy bass, muted keys, snazzy samples and rolling percussion.

The jungle was crawling with strange and wonderful creatures, each was an entity of the present and existed within an ecosystem which would lead to the birth of new life. There was however, but one creature whom played no such part in the development of the environment - he cared little for the growth of others and his selfish attitude was all that stopped the wonderous green bush from living in delicate, perfect harmony. He was the Kropssprog and he had the power to entice and ensare all wild beasts with a devilish, hungry motion.

Sonny is set to release a new four track EP titled "Plastic Worlds" on Koldt Bord. The release orientates around sun kissed house and integrates elements of balearic bewilderment.

They ran rampant and wild, unchained ideas which darted around his head like crazed animals and had the potential to overrule any such knowledge amassed through age. Unprecise thoughts, bitter whispers and hideous messages plagued the day by day drivel and he wondered if there was to be any way out. It would require patience and militant skill to outrun the conscious but he knew that he must in order to live amidst the free world. Until then he would be tied and tangled amidst a sea of his own complex confusion. 

Too Smooth Christ is a producer who has moved from strength to strength, channeling niche elements of house music into a luxurious package which makes things tick. A new release on eudemonia delights and intrigues.

For ØEN Records 13th release we bring you the debut EP by Danish producer En Anden. En Anden is the output of the DJ, Lazer. Wanting to express a simplistic and naive sound, he has taken inspiration from Italo Disco's quirky synthesizer themes and 90's house tight drum and stripped-down productions. With the EP "Ting", En Anden perfects the subtle art of making tracks, where everything stand still, but is still evolving with small waves, connotations and intermissions. The EP is rounded off with a remix by local talent DJ Popup and released digitally with a limited edition poster and t-shirt made by T L S.

On his self titled EP, Halfnelson turns his hand to disco, funk and jazz influenced house music, resampling his own instrumentation to create a sample world all his own. Opening the EP with Feel Out, we’re welcomed into a fuzzed but buoyant sonicsphere, where downtown NY style house meets 70’s disco psychedelia, tied together with vocal snips from The Last Poets. Halfnelson runs his own guitar, bass and percussion lines back through the sampler to crunch them up and bring that classic sample-house feel to the record.
