“Things that happen all over the world cause a heavy impact on people’s lives, and Russia is no exception. The human rights situation in Russia is becoming more acute each year. We believe that the violation of human rights is unacceptable. With Hand to Hand VA we want to draw public attention to this problem and provide assistance to organizations involved in helping people faced with arbitrariness. We have brought together like-minded musicians who share the ideas of cooperation, freedom and unity.
All proceeds from the VA will be split equally between the Russian human rights organizations: Mediazona (an independent media platform focused on the judiciary, law enforcement and penal system in Russia founded by Pussy Riot members Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova) and OVD-Info (an independent human rights media project aimed at combating political persecution)".


The Hand to Hand VA geography is: Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Romania, France, Ukraine, Israel, Lithuania, Greece, the Netherlands and the USA.

PREMIERE: Roe Deers — Get Out! (Hand to Hand Charity VA)

After two stunning manifestations on ‘Muy Duro’ compilations the Austro-Turkish duo, Hanzo & Yaman, fall on Duro with their first full EP for the label and it’s loaded with a powerful remix from DFA legend The Juan Maclean.

“Die Neue Welt” the main title is a reminder that no matter how hard you try to run away, the new world has arrived. A world where biology and technology are one and the same. A world created with synthetic and organic percussion, melting and waving synthesizers, and a robotic voice. The Juan Maclean put out a stripped club remix, where every element needed to make the dancefloor explode is kept and escalated to the next level.

“Atari Maedchen” is the second blazing original and has an obsessive and twisted synth lead that brings to feel locked inside an arcade room. Last but not least is “Niemandsland” a mystical, astral melody synth carries us along with a tempestuous rolling slice of percussive hypnotica.

The 16th release of Belly Dance Services also marks the 4th edition of Various Worldwide, where artists from across the globe join forces for a mini album with 8 tracks.

From Italy with love for a certain musical weirdness: 'Bubble Gum'. A mesmerizing teamwork between A-Tweed and Kakofonico. After starting off steady and percussive, the beats per minute shift up with Cosman from the Lithuanian coast when he delivers his vibrant version of 'Space Disco'. The third track 'No Man Around' is a magnetizing joint venture between AckerMan from Israel and Funboys trio from Australia. The ritualistic cowbell ceremony is followed by 'Blew my Mind', a cheerful downtempo anthem from Vienna based producer Klaus Benedek. The voyage continues via Turkey and Mexico, where Fat&Bald and Ludviq celebrate their 'Age of Trippiness' with us. The 6th track is a new alliance between Belly Dance Services head Nick Hanzo and German-Greek vocalist Geraldine. Together as 'das molekuel' their emotional 'Chasing Game' will swirl up your serotonin level. The molecules continue exploading while listening to 'Unity', a very hip collab between lithuanian sound doctor Bojarchück and Madrid based Chilenian wizard Persona RS. Close the app but suddenly you're on it again, checking who's looked at your story, wondering who's caught your latest post. The real world no longer matters, it's your online persona that counts for everything. Be liked. Be loved. Be followed. 

To mark their 10th release, our Lyon-based friends Hard Fist have called on the skills of Belgian producer and performer Strapontin for The End Of Logic, a package of three original tracks backed up by two remixes from Calypso co-founder Thomass Jackson and Roam alumni Damon Jee. In addition to the music, which sonically spans stomping drums and driving techno-disco grooves, the EP is accompanied by a specially designed video game that pokes fun at social media, putting you in control of a role playing game in Strapontin's hometown of Brussels.

Julian Fleker is an artist from Argentina, a friend from our origins in the underground of Buenos Aires. Ricardo Ruben's project starting from the name to the artistic side face and composition takes a humorous place, although his musical background is serious. Ricardo Ruben is a character from a song by the 80's rock group Los Twists that carried a share of acid humor. It is then that the name of this Ep is not surprising, nor the way to face a different compositional work, wanting to highlight an idiosyncrasy of personal and local search.

“Sinatra is not dead, Yabran told me” plays with black humor and a story of an Argentine media gate. Yabran was a businessman accused of mafias and corruption that ended in a suicide case where everyone doubted his true death as someones think with Sinatra too. Ricardo Ruben is a drummer and the track is a tremendous banger full of percussions, and acid arpeggios of 303 in staccato where a real drum solo joins playing on top by rolling fills. A song that gallops sideways and that is a tractor pushing pistons like crazy. Weird, jazzy, creepy and bizarre black humor, really irresistible.
